not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@Owlunar The doll has worked. She is hugging and talking to the doll. I think she nnow has a new friend.

She is so bad today. Crying and telling her son she’s never seen him. I’m sitting in a corner trying to keep busy because there’s no conversation with me. She has no idea who I am.

@Owlunar We did the best we could having her live with us. We couldn’t do anymore.

Im sure we did the right thing in putting her into care.

Re: not feeling good

I really understand @BlueBay - I have not been as close to it as you have been but it has happened in my family - when a person needs constant care it is more than people can manage and every situation is different but yes - you cared for your MIL for a long time and could you do that now? Okay - could I? No - I couldn't

I guess it takes a village with the elderly as well - and now - both partners need to work and how much of the energy in a family can go toward a member who is not just frail-aged but is losing touch with reality and needs constant attention? You did it for a long time and I know how hard it can be -

It's not the right time to talk about my family but I had my share and it's really tough - I hear you

How would you manage with your MIL not knowing you every day? And how would your husband manage with her telling him she never sees him every day? That would be a horrible way to live

I am glad the doll worked out - I was surprised but thinking on the subject for a while - why not? It will give her something to think about, hold and love even -

Christmas is hard and the old lady really doesn't get a lot of what's happening most likely but when she sees your husband she cries and wants to go home - my mother did this to my sister and although we never got on I encouraged my sister and supported her leaving our mother in care - it is a hard time to live through - you are not alone - but it feels lonely -

Sending my understanding

Dec

Hi @Shaz51@Owlunar @Zoe7

my mood did come down to a better level than ehst it was this mirning.

I didn’t get to go to the beach this afternoon. I was annoyed. A friend text me fir coffee and I said yes. I feel at the moment I’m doing things fir everyone else and having no me time. I need to learn how to say no but it’s hard because I’m a people pleaser and really struggle to say no.

now that today is over I’m going to concentrate on Christmas Day. My youngest son is organising food fir breakfast. Pastries and fresh fruit platter. He’s such a great help. I’m so lucky to have 3 amazing children.

Hope you all had a nice day. ❤️❤️
