not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. My family has been in real estate for years. So I can tell you honestly, that this does happen. And quite often. Sometimes buyers wait to see what others are doing - if they will bid properly at the auction. If not - then they decide to only put in a low offer - hoping that the buyer is desperate. Don't worry. It's all a silly game that is played around real estate.
If you and your agent believe that your reserve / price is fair and reasonable - then that's the price! If however, your house is over priced, then you may need to rethink. Sometimes due to our memories and love of a place - we value it more highly than the buyers. But don't stress too much. Listen to what your agent says. Look at other comparable houses and discuss it as a family. You will know what you need to make from this sale. And NO ONE gives a house away too cheaply. If there are genuine buyers - then the agent will be working with them for the next few days - wrek - to negotiate a price and sale.
When you are ready - should ee go over to the Beer Garden and have a party anyway? Let me know when - & I'll call everyone over.
Love and hugs to you.

Hi to my friends @utopia@Pepsimax@lisajane@Zoe7@Decadian@suzanne@NikNik @Faith-and-Hope @Change123 @oceangirl @Shaz51 @Appleblossom @Teejand others on here:
Update on auction:

As you read above we didn't sell today 😞

But that's okay. My aunty and uncle (dad's brother) came to support us which was so nice of them. It got to a price which was so much cheaper than what we wanted and we passed it in.

But after talking to my aunty and our close friends (who has invested property) they were saying that our property is on 2 blocks of land is worth a whole lot more than what we were asking. So we sat down with our friends and wrote down a few things like cost of land, cost of townhouses etc and we thought lets ring the agent and tell him we have done some research and we now think the property is worth this much. Agent was shocked but wanted to meet up with us. We stuck to our plan and when he came he sat down and said he thought about what my husband had said and thought yes we are right.

So the plan is to now, take it off the market. Wait about 4 weeks and then re-advertise to suit property developers and investors. It will be a completely differernt advertisement but he believes we are right in what we are saying and he will go with us. He wants to sell for a best possible price for us and he now knows we are sticking to our words. Hubby was a bit nervous but i am so glad he spoke up. I was almost fainitng as my anxiety reached very high.

So we wait, i think things happen for a reason. And even the agent agreed, that it's not over yet. that maybe this was meant to happen and then we sell for a much higher price.

I am still staying positive, trying to have faith in this agent. I normally don't like agents but with this one i am positive he will work harder to get what we want.

So now we are all on the same page. I told hubby next time you have doubts during the campaign to speak up because we don't know what you're thinking. Bloody men!!!

Have heard from the boys in Bali today, they are having a great time by the pool drinking beers 🙂

Wish i was there right now.

Thanks guys for all your support over the past few weeks, the fun we had with the 'auction party'. At least i got a few laughs out of the so called party. LOL

Take care everyone, chat soon.

ps. i have posted this as well in 'It's party time' post.

Re: not feeling good

That is all sounding very positive @BlueBay .....

"When a door closes, a window opens ..."

Yur anxiety was high, yes, but you made it through this process .... and in good shape ❣

Its been such a huge 24 hours for you, bpwhat can you do now to pamper yourself and use all that tense energy wisely ? Can you have a soak in the tub, or a gentle walk, or a movie with hubby ? Maybe an early night with some gentle music and a hot honey and cinnamon milk drink ....

So well done .... ❣

Re: not feeling good

I read that you didn't sell the house @BlueBay but I was having trouble with my computer and rather than risk computer rage I gave up and had a sleep

It;s okay this morning

I'm sorry about the house - but yes - sell the land - it's worth a lot Bayside and add the house in the price sure - but the Real Estate stuff is a game - and it depends a lot on what you are doing and why you are selling etc

When we sold our house I went with the lowest quote to get rid of a run-down building that looked okay but wasn't. I wanted out of that house asap and it sold quickly - they had enough land to build on the back half and it looked really good for a while but it is all run-down again - I go past now and again but it has bad memories

I was selling the bad memories -

Still I got what I asked for in a private sale very quickly - maybe it's worth going private because other people don't know what other people are thinking either - and this is an investment - not a getting out of a situation quickly thing -

Don't fret for the next month - save all that until the time comes - and start ditching stuff you don't need and get some storage and move things you aren't using now but want to keep into storage - you are going to rent for a while anyway - so this will make you place easier to manage anyway

This is a lot - I know - it is tense moving anyway - selling and buying anyway - and you need a break form the stress

I missed the party yesterday - I thought it was on this thread - but my computer was driving me crackers yesterday - I was driving me crackers - the humid weather gets to me

Maybe it got to youer buyers -

It's not over yet - and yes - HuffyPuffyHubby needs to give is opinion - yes!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Decadian
It's ok. I started to stress this morning but I'm ok. Talked with hubby while we walked down the beach with jersey. And we are not desperate to sell although it would be nice to sell asap. But we can hold on a little bit longer. Our 2 blocks are worth a lot so we will see what happens. I'm so glad hubby spoke up yesterday he was stressing the whole time about the advertised price was too low but never said anything. Now he knows he needs to speak up.
We are going to get a skip and get rid of stuff now rather than wait for the place to sell.
I'm staying positive with a bit of negative every now and then about selling.
You know things are actually getting better between hubby and me.
Having lunch BBQ at home with our daughter and her boyfriend. I'll come back later. Have a nice day. Xxxooo

Hi @Faith-and-Hope
Yeah sometimes I think things happen for s reason. I still think we will sell just takes time to find the right buyer. How are you feeling better? And your family are they better?
