not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Your dinner sounds lovely BB - I love my steamed veggies

I am aiming to be asleep by about 9 tonight - it seems that after that time I start to go downhill more - whether that is because I am tired or just too much time to think ...or both I need to break the pattern of the last few nights @BlueBay

I hope you sleep well too

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay,

Being a big hearted person can be hard sometimes! It can really feel difficult to seperate oneself from the emotions of others sometimes. I know this is something you've started a discussion about with members in the past. One of the reccomendations that you were given, was to take a step back and have a short break from forums when you feel this way. Do you think that might help you now?

Do others have suggestions of how to manage intense concern/ worry/empathy for others on the forum?

Re: not feeling good

That’s another problem @Former-Member i feel that I’m glued to the forums. I try to take a break but then come back on straight away. I’m sorry I’m just a stressed person who worries about others so much. It’s just the way I am.

I trally struggle to stay away because I feel I have a connection with others I feel they’re friends fir me on here. When i feel so lonely I go on here and chat to others. It’s hard to explain. It’s a huge connection that would be very hard leave. It’s an attachment disorder isn’t it? I’m bad in doing this. Not sure if this making any sense in how I explained it.

Re: not feeling good

You explained it well @BlueBay. The things that you're struggling with are legitmately difficult, so I think you may be being hard on yourself, to say that you are bad at this stuff.

What helps other members to step back? Do others feeling compelled to return to or stay on the forums even when they know that they would benefit from some time out? How do others cope with this tension?
