not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Thank you @Former-Member
In ED atm waiting to see a mh clinician. I broke down in the ambulance and told them I need help. I'm so scared just waiting. 😥😥

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

What you wrote about needing help and not getting it reminds me of the times when I needed help for my son and it would be at weekends often and the local police were my best friends

Still - although the situation is different I do understand the frustration and helplessness - do I ever

Try LIfe Line again and be very specific - maybe there is something you don't want to say here or to them - that's okay - maybe you would be scared of a public hospital - so would I - but hey - they might put you there until Monday and then get you into a private hospital because the Governent does not want you in a public hospital when you have private insurance - believe me.

My sinuses are really bothering me - my headache is not high on pain for me as pain goes because my back pain is so my worse - but it's right between my eyes so I haven't been able to use my computer much - I can't seem to focus my eyes. I have a script for ABs but I haven't had it filled because there is not much discharge but maybe I should walk down to the big pharmacy which is open all weekend

I know you have asthma - my doctor told me that a lot of people have had respiratory problems since that storm - and I have this really fantastic photo of a cloud from that storm. Asthma is really hard because breathing is such a battle - it's exhausting

I will try and post this pic again - but not right now

Thinking of you - and remember how I felt at times when I reached the end of my tether

Lots of hugs

Re: not feeling good

In short stay at hospital. Just spoke to a senior mh clinician. He says that maybe meds won't work for me - WTF. How does he know. He said DBT will help but it's a big commitment and costly - great just what I wanted to hear.
Keeping me here overnight. Had a really good cry before with a nurse who talked to me and just sat and patted my back. I'm e haunted. Been sleeping after all the crying.
They gave me a calming med before.
I so hope I can get in to private hospital soon.
Just rang hubby and he says - gee you went to see your GP for asthma and now you're in there with depression. Yeah right like you just "pick up" depression. I told him to stay home because I'll be sleeping.
Now I feel guilty that I'm in hospital agsin.

Re: not feeling good

And this guy says that my new psychologist is tough really tough. Great just what I wanted to hear before seeing her. Maybe I shld just give up on everything.

Re: not feeling good

I had a great "tuff" psychologist for a year. Then she had a baby and is still on leave. for me. for her.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueRay, nope, no giving up. spend a night there, get assessed, be honest, try to relax, breathe deep and try not to over think. I don't know you very well yet so keep posting. Hope the admission is beneficial. Hugzz xox

Re: not feeling good

Glad you're in a safe place @BlueBay sorry to hear that things are overwhelming. I'm guessing that things are overwhelming for your husband as well for different reasons. be gentle on both of you, its easy to say things in the heat of the moment i'm guessing.

hope that your place in the private hospital comes up soon.

take care
