not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Former-Member

my son left home about an hour ago now. Saying goodbye was tough. I cried as soon as he left. What if something happens to him while he's away? I'm worrying so much. He will arrive in London very early Friday morning our time.

Hi @BlueBay,

I can't imagine how difficult it is saying goodbye to your son as he goes on this big journey. I'm almost certain a lot of parents would cry and worry a lot, particularly on the first night, but I can hear this is very painful for you on top of that. @Faith-and-Hope made some wonderful suggestions for some things that might help. What else would be helpful from the forums tonight?

Take care 🙂

Hi @Former-Member

I have just re-read F&H reply and I will try to remember the suggestions she gave.

I just have to remind myself that he is a sensible adult. But I still worry.

I need a distraction tonight. Don't know what though.

Re: not feeling good

I feel for you @BlueBay You sound overwhelmed with emotion. I can hear the big anxiety, and at the same time also your belief that this will be a good experience for your sons. My nearly 22 year old daughter is heading overseas for the first time on Sunday. She is going with a friend, and not for very long - just a few weeks. I am telling myself that it is normal to worry, though I expect I won't be so rational when the time comes. Do you like podcasts, or tv? Sometimes I garden (not that it's a winter night option!) or bake when I'm overwhelmed because it's kind of grounding.

Hi everyone

waiting in the car for my appointment to see my psychologist. Feeling very anxious and scared today. Don't know why. Well maybe I do know I'm nervous about going through another session reliving my trauma and sobbing for an hour. It gets too much. Wish I could just stay in my car and nit go in.

Hi @Faith-and-Hope@Shaz51@frog@Zoe7@utopia

saw my psychologist this morning. Spoke about my son leaving last night and the triggers for me. They are all negative catastrophic beliefs and I need to learn to believe in myself and start thinking that things will be ok. He will be ok. He is sensible and nothing will happen.

I broke down and told her "what if I don't get better, what if I end up staying like this" she replied let's work on one slow step at a time. Let's break it down and not get overwhelmed with the whole picture.

I opened up a bit more to her today and it was good to be able to tell her what I've been doing which I think is stupid but she understood the reason behind my behaviour. I have a lot of work eith abandonment and self esteem and feeling worthy because at the moment there is none.

Seejng my doctor this afternoon for a lump and tenderness on my head. I'm going to ask him if he got my messages to call me. See what he says.

Feeling depressed.
