not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Flyingbutter@utopia@Shaz51@Faith-and-Hope@Zoe7

I'm angry this morning at my doctor. I rang to speak with him first thing this morning and his receptionist said you csnt tslk with him now you'll have to ring him this afternoon. They normally check with him first and then tell me what he says but today was different. I think he is not wanting to speak with me.

Well I don't care anymore. He can abandon me too just like the others have. That's what he's doing. Pushing me away. I'm so angry. I'm not going to ring him. On Friday he was supposed to ring me back and he never did. See he now doesn't care.

Well I don't care either.

@BlueBay. Your dr will be flat out busy today after a long weekend.

It's good that he will find the time this afternoon to take your call.

Re: not feeling good

@utopia @BlueBay Russel s book is funny and poignant and walks you through the steps. He says it took him years to getting around to step 4, doing all the writing. Hes honest and doesnt make himself into a god. He's with all people.
He suggests getting support with step 4, writing down all the things that have hurt you or ways you have hurt yourself, and I agree this is important as it is an emtional process.
Bluebay I hope your writing is helping you. Julia Cameron writes alot about writing to heal the self. She has stuff on line.
Blessings to you

Sorry to hear that @BlueBay. Just don't abandon yourself. We need you here in the forums with your honesty. Xx

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay I totally agree with @utopia. Imagine if your doctor took every call made to him while you were seeing him as a patient - you would be very annoyed with that and think he didn't listen or care about you - so put yourself in his shoes - he needs to give his full attention to the patients he is seeing and then can talk to you later when he has a break in patients.

The only person you are hurting yourself here is you by thinking negatively and expecting more than is possible under the circumstances.

They didn't say he couldn't talk to you - it is a 'can't talk just now' scenario. I know waiting is stressful but there are often limits when trying to call doctors - that doesn't mean he is abandoning you - just that you have to wait a little longer to speak to him.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Faith-and-Hope@Zoe7@Flyingbutter@utopia@Shaz51@Whiteknight and anyone else reading this

I need some advice pls.

A friend of mine had notified me of a job. She has said I should apply. It is three days a week. My issue is:

1. I'm not confident to look for a new job even though we need more finances

2. I'm not stable mentally to start a new job

3. I don't think I would be able to work on my own as this job you would be on your own. I need to be with people around me.

4. Too much thinking time if I was on my own at work

5. I'm scared of making mistakes and I'm on my own. There would be no one to help me.

Hubby is pushing me to apply but I am very anxious. I need some advice pls.

BB

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. That's tough. Being torn between knowing you are not healthy enough at the moment and the pressures of needing a higher income.

I've been through the same. But I have to say that your health comes first. Always.

Having said that, there's no problem in at least going for an interview. You can always say no if they offer you the job.

Just follow what you need to do for your health.

Re: not feeling good

@utopia

I forgot to mention that this same job was advertised a few months ago and I did get an interview. I went and then never heard back from them. Not even a letter to say sorry I was unsuccessful. It is an educational institute. I was a bit annoyed at not hearing back from them the first time.

Yes i think you're right - my health comes first. I think it doesn't matter how much money you have, if your health is good then there's no point in having all this money.

Trying telling this to my hubby.

Re: not feeling good

I agree @BlueBay @utopia .....

If you can bring yourself to attend the interview, the job will either be offered to you or not .... the door will open or it will close ..... and life is like that. Doors open and close, and you have the choice then, if the door opens, to close it by turning the job down.

It would give you the chance to ask questions while you were there, and see how you felt about it all.

If it is too stressful, then cancel.

You have choices.
