not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@Appleblossom
I am petrified of facing myself. Facing my fears my vulnerability. I'm scared of seeing the real me. I'm scared of everything. I'm even scared of life 😥

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay ...... go back to taking deep breaths and calming yourself ......

Having those sort of rescue fantasies is completely normal as far as I understand. The mind expresses itself in day dreams as well as night dreams ....... and will try to imagine a variety of ways forward, particularly if we are feeling trapped, isolated, traumatised ........

I have fantasised about rescue from our situation and how it might come about. It’s just your mind trying to anticipate the future, trying to problem solve ...... and you have even more reason because you are trying to escape emotional pain from events in your past, in your childhood when you were very vulnerable and needed protection.

Breathe ....... calm your system and you won’t be feeling quite so weird ...... when we panic we begin to shallow-breathe, and that exacerbates the symptoms.

Breathe ...... and we are with you .......

Therapy is actually your path of rescue @BlueBay. Self-care helps us to feel cared-for, even though we are the ones doing the caring ..... it doesn’t matter ..... it’s the care part that is important.

Breathe ...... and then maybe try the finger-knitting ? It wound take long, and it’s very therapeutic.

@Faith-and-Hope I want all my pain to go away. I'm emotional because I feel it. I can feel all the pain. I'm trying to breathe but it's hard. I want to escape. I'm trying to calm down

Re: not feeling good

Your pain is real @BlueBay Sorry if that sounds wrong but I think I get it. Years ago I used to say my favourite place to be was in hospital. I used to talk about self admission in my 20s because I just couldn’t feel right. Sorta like I feel now. Funny how I got thru decades since. I hope to wake up feeling differently tomorrow. Am feeling for you.
