not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay .......

They are some of the symptoms I had Hon. The doctor told me that when that is happening I should take slow deep breaths, because when we are frightened we shorten and sharpen our breathing, and that adds to th neuralogical symptoms we are experiencing.

If we breathe slow and deep it reduces them and stops the panic reaction from progressing.

Ok I'll give thst a go @Faith-and-Hope. I feel everything is an effort. And I'm getting upset over everything little. My depression is going downhill since being sick. I wish I was still in hospital. I feel like crying. I've never felt like this before. How long did it take you to feel better?. Could the doctors give you anything?

Re: not feeling good

You need rest @BlueBay ..... it took 3-4 weeks to progressively lift, but if I am tir d and over-exert myself, the symptoms begin to reappear. I had a rest day yesterday ...... and I have had a long day out today, so I am going to have to rest up when I get home, or I will start feeling sick.

It helps to understand that that is what is happening ...... like a “tiredness sickness”, if you can think of it as simply as that ...,.

Re: not feeling good

Yep that's how I'll see it. My body and mind need to rest. I've just got over asthma and a chest infection as well as come off meds in hospital so I need to be kind to myself.
I'm going to bed early tonight after tea. Having a nice veg and noodle soup. Tomorrow I will take it easy again.
Thsnks for your support. ❤️

Re: not feeling good

Attagirl @BlueBay ....... it can be hard to learn to stop and listen to what our bodies are telling us when we have raised a family and worked, and just run, run, run ...... and then stress and illness come into our lives and we just don’t know how to stop running ......

This “tiredness illness” has not only made me slow down, it has also made my family stop and consider how I am. I think they just get used to the idea that Mum keeps on going .......

Re: not feeling good

I feel sick today. I feel drowsy and slow. Is there anyone to chat. I'm feeling really fatigued. My doctor said it will take time. I hate feeling. It's not me. Feeling really depressed. I can't keep feeling like this.

Re: not feeling good

It might be good to pull out your mandala colouring in book while you are resting up today ..... it’s a good way of distracting from spiralling thoughts @BlueBay .... gives you something else to focus on despite the way you feel ......

Re: not feeling good

I did some colouring in @Faith-and-Hope. It helped me distract myself and feel calm. I have an appt with my psychologist this afternoon which I so need especially before the weekend party.
Hope you've managed to get some rest today. Xxoo
