not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay,

I'm sorry you are feeling crappy. It's hard when we are having a difficult day to get ourselves to work.

Can you maybe give yourself a reward when you get to work? Like having a hot chocolate or a little bit of a naughty snack (i do like a pastry every now and then...in moderation of course! )

Your forum friends are here today if you need to reach out.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay ..... I am here .....,

Are you in tune or early for work ? Can you pull over and have a breather ...., and maybe do that several times on your way to work ? Make it a series of small trips instead of one longer one ?

Are you playing some music in the car ? You need to distract yourself from thoughts of b ing at work, and bring yourself back to the present. Having a. elastic band on your wrist, and snapping it lightly against your skin can help you do that ..... it creates a physical sensation that demands attention in the present.

Remember to breathe ....... in, hold, out, hold .... slow and steady.

Re: not feeling good

Hi everyone
I phoned my gp and told him I took some meds last night. Told him I'm struggling with nerves and anxiety. I asked if I could take a medication and he didn't know u had done at home. He didn't prescribe them. My old psych did two years ago.
He said I could only take 1:2 tablet. But now I'm feeling anxious agsin and want to take more. I'm feeling sick in the stomach and so nervous.
@Zoe7 thankyou for last night. I'm sorry I made you worry ❤️❤️
@Faith-and-Hope thankyou xx
@Shaz51 thankyou xx
Thankyou for your kind words and help ❤️❤️❤️

Re: not feeling good

I was worried for you because I care @BlueBay - no need to be sorry

Your nervousness could be from talking to your GP - that child inside you knows you did the right thing by telling your GP what you did last night but now she feels guilty about taking something other than meds presently prescribed. It can be a vicious circle BB - you do something to feel better but then you feel like you have let yourself and others down and you feel worse than you did before - and the cycle continues.

Try to put last night out of your mind and look only at today. Are you home now or stil at work?

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Zoe7 I'm home. I had to see chiro for my back after work. I could hardly walk. He wants me to get a second opinion from a physio. I need to see this guy urgently as he thinks it could be a bulging disc.
I told my gp that I took extra tabs last night and that I have a whole box still. He wants me to get rid of them. I told him I csnt because what if I get anxious again. I need them. I have to call him again on Tuesday morning.
I'm really not right Zoe. I feel like crying.
