not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@BlueBay, big hugzzzz 💜 Remember to communicate your needs to hubby. Sometimes they think e re trying to manipulate them so go gently, especially on yourself too. Give yourself time - today your emotions are probably still everywhere. You seem angry too. Just do the vest you can, that's all you can do 🙂 💜💕 Have a cuppa with me I. Spirit ♨♨ 🌷🌿

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. You definitely went through a scary episode. It must have been very frightening. But you are out the other side now. It is over. You need to find a way to vanquish your mum. It's the only way I can see you healing.
Your dinner sounds delicious. Has my mouth watering. I hope you and your sister have a lovely day.
I hope you have settled into your new house and that it is starting to feel like a home. When I was in hospital I didn't read any threads, but I hope the move went well.
Yes my son still isn't talking to me. Went to my mums to see him yesterday. Was lucky to get a single word out of him. He doesn't know if he wants to come home. I told him he needs to find a way to forgive me - otherwise - it will cause him ongoing pain. I'm driving him to and from a party tonight - so hopefully he will talk to me when we are driving.
Your husbands way of saying he loves you, is to do the practical things. That's why he offered to drive you to the hospital. That's his way of saying - he loves you - he wants you to get better - he worries about you. He is doing the best he can do. Just as you are doing the best you can do.
Have a great day

Hi @utopia @Former-Member

I am having another mini episode. I have a terrible headache which is a different headache. It is from the back of my head. And it just pulses comes and goes. not a normal headache at the front of my head. now i am having hearing hallucinations of voices in my head. i am not telling hubby, i don't want to go to hospital again.

i will sit on my own and crotchet my blanket if i can get these voices to shut up. it is frightening. i am scared and don't know what to do.

i know if i go back to hospital they will admit me again.

are there any @Former-Member around for advice pls

very fragile, frightened 😞

Re: not feeling good

Oh @BlueBay, sorry to hear your suffering like this. Can you take something for your headache and have a lie down? Sometimes eyestrain can cause headaches in the back of head. Changing meds won't help. As for internal voices, you might need to say affirmations once or twice (the truth about who you really are - a beautiful gentle valued soul with best days ahead of her), this helps counteract any negatives. Distract yourself with wholesome auditory input - a feel good movie, lecture, music, relaxation etc. So glad your crocheting blanket, that's a form of mindfulness. As for Moderators, I think their scarce on the weekend, however I have seen other CG's around, @Shaz51, @Faith-and-Hope. Wonder where @Kurra is tonight, and @Queenie, and @Former-Member, they can be very helpful. Deep breaths, go gently. Eat peacges and cream with decaf. Big higz

Re: not feeling good

Can you put some earphones in @BlueBay, and play some favourite music ?

Re: not feeling good

HI @BlueBay

That doesn't sound good at all and very scary for you, as you say. Have you had these auditory hallucinations at other times? Your headache sounds severe. As counsellor moderators we are not medically trained and are limited in the support we can offer you in this situation.

My advice would be to tell your husband and seek a medical or a CAT assessment, as this could be a reaction to medication, or a lead-up to psychosis, for example. It's important that you stay safe and you get help if your symptoms worsen.

I understand your anxiety about going into hospital and it's good you have some self-soothing things you can do. However these symptoms sound serious to me, please seek medical help.

best wishes,

Frog

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Former-Member

not sure if you read the msg from yesterday whre I was admitted to hospital on friday night and came out yesterday for the same reason. My GP would not let me go home and sent me to hospital. It is not as bad as that yet and i don't want to go again.

I guess I could ring the CAT team. I am scared they will admit me again.

I will go and take some painkillers for my headache and sit quietly on the lounge. I feel so fragile.

I did stop my meds for a few days last week, but am back oon them now.

I do understand you can't give medical advice.

Ohhh @BlueBay this could be a reaction to medication, sending you lots of tender hugs

Re: not feeling good

I think you are doing all you can with distracting from your voices @BlueBay. Try and listen to upbeat music that you enjoy and drown it out with headphones. I do this most of the time my voices are active. Mine have been pretty active for about a week and I listen to music and do things I enjoy to distract from them.

Whatever you do, don't internalise your voices, speak to someone about them. If you can't do this in RL, then talk to us here. I've found from experience, if you speak/write about them, you lower your level of distress. Having high levels of distress just makes them all the more potent.
