not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Like anyone else @BlueBay, it means taking one step at a time. You will see their excitement building at the thought of having a home of their own. You will help your daughter to start preparing things that they will need ..... these are exciting and happy actitivies ......

When they move into their new home, you will come and visit, and they will come and visit you in your new home. When you want to go out, you can go visit each other, or meet up somewhere else for a meal or a movie or something.

It's just a different way of life that you will adjust to, and it will be sooooo good every time you catch up, and when your son comes home ..... these will be things to look forward to.

Re: not feeling good

Thanks @outlander I do hope I get a bed in hospital very soon

I understand what you're saying @Faith-and-Hope. I do want my kids to leave and enjoy their own house and journey. It is time for them to leave home and start their own life together with their partner. And with my daughter with her little baby on the way, this is so exciting.

We had our final inspection of our new home last night and it looked so good. I was picturing everything we have in this new house. I was picturing me in the new house. It was the right buy; the right house.

It felt like it was meant to be. I just have to get through another 10 days of high wave of emotions and my asthma flare up. Going to dr this morning as i couldn't sleep last night coughing and very wheezy.

Lots of changes ahead for me and my family.

Re: not feeling good

hi everyone

i made a doctor's appt this morning because my asthma was really bad this morning. so i went in and i could hardly breathe. he did a check on my oxygen levels and they weren't good either. he checked my BP and that was really high. he was worried about my BP and can't work out why it is so high. he wants a home review of my medication done by a pharmacist. he believes me that i do take my meds but doesn't understand what is gooing on. he said i need to rest and see how my asthma goes.

I received an email from my supervisor asking me for a meeting next tuesday. I have a feeling that it is to say to cut back my hours. or even make me redundant. i really hope not. as i need my job.

my GP agrees that i need to work, i need structure and need to work.

i am home early from work, i left early as i wasn't feeling well. I have another appt with my GP next thursday morning. he wants to know how my meeting goes with my supervisor. he said to me not to worry until then because it could be nothing.

i hope i don't lose my job. if i lose hours well i can't help it can, i don't have a say. i will be devastated. i hope not, i really hope not.

hi @BlueBay

i hope your BP comes doen and your asthma gets abit better for you. it must be really horrible!

i hated when my nans oxygen levels went down it was a very scary thing!

the home review sounds pretty good for you BB, i hope that goes well for you, will they put your daily meds etc into a blister pack for you as well?

i agree try not to worry about your meeting with your supervisor until then.

you might be able to negotiate hours for yourself so you still work and have structure in the day but its not too overwhelming for you so maybe you could see about jsut doing half days or a few hours a day..?

Re: not feeling good

Hi @outlander

I already do have my meds in a blister pack. it;s just so much easier. I am taking so much that if I didn't i would forget to take them. I did get angry at my GP because I thought that he was thinking that i wasn't taking my meds. but i reassured him that i was. but he said it was because i am taking complex meds that he wanted someone else to oversee them and make sure there are no interactions.

then he can see what to do with the BP and try to bring it down.

i am feeling very tired i think it is the asthma and low oxygen. i think if i am not good tonight i will either call for an ambulance and go to hospital or go to hosptial myself. see how i go.

feeling like this big black dog is right on top of me tonight.

how are you @outlander?

Re: not feeling good

Hi @outlander

I think I will get hubby to take me to local hospital (10 min down road) to get asthma checked out.

I woke up at 3.00am again and had trouble breathing again, very wheezy. Used my ventolin and went back to sleep. But woke up at 6am and couldn't get back ro sleep. Trying to do washing and put out so once that is down I will get him to drop me down there. He is cleaning out rubbish from garage and putting it out in dump bin we just got got delivered for long weekend.

I am hoping hospital will put me on a nebuliser to help with wheezy chest. I have had this asthma and cough/wheeze since I was in hospital last time; then we went away to Qld and it got worse again then coming back to the cold weather hasn't helped. Also have no idea how my blood pressure is today. Will get that checked at the hospital.

Will see how long it takes to get checked by a doctor. hopefully hospital won't be too busy.

I will let you all know how I go.

BB xxooo

Re: not feeling good

hi everyone

I ended up at my local hospital early afternoon and just got home. after 2 1/2 hour wait i got seen by a lovely female doctor. i was very wheezy in both sides of my lungs. my blood pressure was very high 170/90. she ordered an ECG, a chest x-ray and after that a move to short stay. there i was given medication for my asthma every 20 minutes by the nurse. he was very nice. my oxygen levels were good.

i then got a terrible heachade where the lights were really making me sick, so i asked for a panadol, they couldn't give me anything as they were worried about my asthma not getting better. i started to cry and they then gave me a calmative and switched the lights near my bed. the nurse then gave me a little hand towel to put over my eyes. the calmative tablet relaxed me so much that i fell asleep.

the results of my ECG and x-ray were all good so the doctor decided to send me home. the wheeze was much less so that was good. she has written to my own GP so he will have all the information by the time i go to see him on Thursday.

i am really hoping that by tuesday i get a phone call to say that a bed is available for me.

hope everyone is doing okay, thinking of you all

BB xxoo
