not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

@BlueBay

change can also be good. its a new beginning for you. you said you love that house. when packing boxes just keep thinking about how much you love that new house and remember to breathe and take breaks as well. get your son to give you a hand as well you should have to do it all on your own

please please resist that sh urge. i can tell you they may give you abit of relief at the time but i hate my scars and they distress me too now and id hate for that to happen to you and once you start its like an addiction and you cant stop- which is what im in the middle of dealing with atm. so please please try your hardest not to do it

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay I just wanted to jump on to let you know that you have the strrength to get through today. You are safe at home - it is just your fears and anxiety that are making you feel so overwhelmed at the moment. When you have relaxed your thoughts a little then go for a walk.

I am just about to leave work - so will be about an hour until I get home. I'll check in with you again then BB.

...still on your shoulder

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay - sometimes our kids need to see us struggling with life. Then see as we move on. We are human.
@Former-Member is right. You don't need to do thos yourself. Your son can help.
Yes you love your new house. So when you are packing - try not to think about where you bought the item or who gave it to you or old memories around the item. Instead, picture where that item might go in the new house. How it will look.
As you pack focus on if that item 'belongs' in your new house. How will the ornaments look in the new house. Which bedsrooms will you put that linen on? How great it will be when you smooth down the sheets on the bed in the new house. How much your house will feel like a home when you put that tablecloth on the table & use that dinner set.
No thinking of old times with those items.
Focusing on the new times with them.
You can do this! I can see you packing up a box or two today.

Re: not feeling good

I'll sit right beside you on the floor. Open the cupboard and tell me where it will go in the new house. As you put it in the box - tell me stories of where you will use that item. Will it be a casual bbq outside - or will it be a formal dinner in the dining room.
Put it in the box. Then take another item. And as you wrap it - tell me where it will sit in the new house. On the windowsill to catch the light? Will you hang that picture in the hall or in the lounge room.
Keep telling me. I'm sitting next to you listening. I'm holding the box open. I'll get the packing tape ready.

Hi @utopia

Gee i wish you could come over and help me!!

I can't seem to move to do this. I think I need either hubby or one of the kids to help me start. Maybe once i start i will be okay, although not really sure. but today i just can't. i am home alone and feel very emotional.

but once i start i will definitely tell you about my stuff i am packing. and yes you can help me with the tape. and labelling each box.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay. I'm so good at giving orders - or being a supervisor - than actually doing the work. Lol. I'm a bit of a lazy sod when it comes to the actual doing.
So right now - we leave the packing. Maybe it's time to do some colouring or knitting.
Are you cooking dinner tonight? What will you be having.?
I should look in my freezer and pantry and plan something for dinner too. Have had yucky frozen meals the last 2 nights & take away the night before. Think my boy and I need a big plate of vegies.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

Can you picture yourself sitting around the dining table in the new house, with all you're kids and your daughter feeding the new baby in the high chair at the end of the table ?

Look around the room ...., You can see all your familiar things there in their place in your new home ..... they need to be transported there and put into their place .... look forwards, not backwards ..... picture yourself in the lounge room, and start taking your things towards that new lounge room .... towards that new family life that is in front of you ..... start preparing for the new baby in the new house.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @utopia

you know what i just did? - I went upstairs and filled two boxes of ornaments. one box for our garage sale and the other to keep.

that's all i can do today. some of the ornaments were mums so i am selling them. i dont want them with me in the new house.

@NotLabelDefined we are moving 5 mins down the road to a fairly new estate. the house we bought is not quite one year old, very modern exactly how i pictured a house i wanted.

Gosh this is bringing up so much emotions and i really haven't even started packing yet. the cupboard with the photos has all the children's baby photos, hubbys photos of a baby - but none of me. No i have nothing and that's how i feel - a nothing. I've asked my mum over the years and she doesn't give me any.

Dinner tonight @utopia is going to be a bbq with salads and green beans. Can't go past a sausage in bread!!

Hubby is just home and i need to buy the meat, so i will go for now but will come back after. @NotLabelDefined this is going to be very challenging for me; something i am not sure i can get through without having a mental and physical breakdown and sh.
