not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay Are you signed up to an Employment Service? If not it would be well worth doing - they can help you with the job search as well as writing applications/resumes.

As for your meds - take them, don't take them - that is up to you but you know what happens when you don't so that will then be on you. You want a better life for yourself but you have to search for that yourself and take active steps to improve your own life - not taking your meds is not doing that. If you stop taking them then you are going against the advice of your treating team and the only person to blame will be yourself so think carefully want it is you want, how it will affect you if you stop and if you will better better or worse off as a result. No-one can do this for you as it has to be a conscious decision on your part knowing the consequences either way. ....so please think carefully before you make that decision.

Re: not feeling good

Not taking your meds is self-sabotage @BlueBay. I agree with @Zoe7, it's your choice, but I just want to drop in a gentle reminder that you have been really uncomfortable within yourself as a result on other occasions when you have done that, and very sorry afterwards. I know it feels like a go-to in the moment of upset ..... but when we self-sabotage (and we all do that at different times and to different degrees) then we have those pieces to pick back up again afterwards too.

Finding employment is a process Hon. It does take jumping through all the hoops to get there, and you have found new work situations in the past which reminds you that it does happen ......

Sending gentle hugs your way for the way you are feeling tonight. The feelings are really uncomfortable, and I am glad you are sharing them with us so you are not sitting in them alone ...... sending love your way and wishing you courage and perseverance.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay,

I can hear that you are feeling really disheartened around finding an admin job and being really harsh on yourself in the process. It sounds like you desperately need some hope and self-compassion.

As @Zoe7 said, taking your meds is a very personal choice so it is very important to reflect on your reasons for discontinuing your meds. Whilst it is important to take responsibility for the choices you make and their consequences, going into a space of shame and self-blame around this keeps you stuck and is, thus, unhelpful. So no matter what choice you make, do so with consciousness (as @Zoe7 said), reflection and self-compassion.

Look after yourself in the best way you can @BlueBay!

Kindest,

Amour_Et_Psyché

Re: not feeling good

I know what everyone is saying. It's not easy.

i am disheartened and feel lost and feel left out.
I feel that everyone is having a go at me tonight.

msybe next time I won't write about my meds.
@Former-Member I'm reflecting that not taking my meds is a bad thing. I'm taking them tonight.
When I'm not good mentally I don't think. I sabotage in a lot of ways. No meds is one way.
It doesn't matter.

Re: not feeling good

No-one is 'having a go at you' @BlueBay You were honest in telling us about your meds and we have done the same in highlighting what effect that has had on you previously and what the consequences are for you. That is why we have asked you to consicously make that choice and not simply self-sabotage as the result for you is never a good one.

Re: not feeling good

Hey @BlueBay, I just wanted to pop my head in here and say good on you for acting with self compassion and taking your meds, particularly when it sounds like there was a loud part of you saying do the opposite. I especially loved your insight, when you said how your meds give you clarity to make healthier decisions. It's not always easy to have that clarity when you're feeling lost or perhaps misunderstood. I hope you're able to continue to ride that wave of self compassion...take it easy and go gently 🌊 🌻

Re: not feeling good

Took my tabs this morning

I'm in psin though. My wrist continues to be the same. The last week my sore hip has been bothering me. Well today it's both hips. I went for a walk to help stretch things out but it's made it worse. I'm now laying down in a bad mood. Feeling very sorry for myself.

Re: not feeling good

@BlueBay maybe a physio or chiro would help with your hips and maybe your wrist as well?

Re: not feeling good

Hey my friend @outlander

I've just emailed my chiro. Can't see him at the moment as I'm self isolating waiting for Covid results.
hope you are doing ok. Xxx
