not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Yes @BlueBay

I hear you - I am having some of the same - restricted activity also but no one is here to annoy me. The idea is not to use your wrist at all so I guessed you know to get someone else to drive you. The pain medication is important too so take it when it's the right time and don't wait until it's really bad

I can't imagine what it's like for you in the crowded house though - whew

Re: not feeling good

I'm really glad to hear your husband is driving you atm @BlueBay - it's not just to rest your wrist either but driving when you are taking strong pain killers is really not on -

I stopped driving and surrendered my licence when I had to take really strong pain medication - that is something that is hard to take to this day - I used taxis a lot and although I don't have the independence just to drive off somewhere I think it's actually cheaper

But still - back to you - it is necessary to take things easier to give yourself the best chance to recover and I think you really know this but just find it hard to deal with

Thinking of you from my own peaceful if slightly compromised condition - what I have had is a highly compromised shoulder I have lived with for decades and the injection is just uncomfortable but I am not pushing it for a couple of days - it can take years to learn to be peaceful about these things

All the best

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I have a feeling I know what the dietician told you and that would be hard to hear - I know because I have been thinking it myself and I know It's really tough which is why I haven't said anything - I told you I would always tell you the truth though

The truth is I would understand - I have been there with my son remember and now so much of your life is outside of your control and this has to be distressing

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Owlunar

@we were talking about pros and cons of been healthy.
there were lots of benefits - better physical and mental health. Blood pressure under control. Less medication.
the negative to that was - negative self talk, behaviour. Fear of failure. All these plus more ingrained in me for years. He said my eating is pretty good and my exercises were on the right track.

it's my stress that is the big issue. As a result of this I'm excessively eating when really I should be dealing with the stress.
he also said that it's productive for me to see him as he's a dietitian. But he did make another appt in July.

straight away my mind went to -

see I'm a failure.

Can't do anything right

I've let him down

I'm never going to get this right

he did say that changes for me will be very difficult and challenging

and I need yo work through this with my psych

I'll continue later

Re: not feeling good

So @Owlunar @where do I start.
how do I begin to stress less

dietitian asked me have I ever told anyone how their comments make me feel

I said no never

he was surprised

I don't know how to get through this
