not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hugs @BlueBay. At least you're getting answers and possible solutions. Give yourself space to think through everything. Maybe write questions down to ask your Dr so you're not too overwhelmed?

Re: not feeling good

I'm glad you made that decision @BlueBay

It doesn't really matter if work gets angry but why would they? People take time off because they are not well and I would rather know what was wrong with my spine before pushing things and making it all worse

I do know what spinal pain can do and how miserable it can make us feel - and I also know that pushing things is not the answer and you do need to pace yourself. I don't know if working in a supermarket is right or wrong for you but lifting heavy weights is not good for anyone especially if you have not been taught how to lift properly.

And I also know that it can take a long time to sort it out and an MRI is really the only way you can learn this but it can be hard to get the medical profession to really get things moving - and having a mental illness makes it harder - and no one can see the pain you are in - it's a secret your body has and pain is unique to every person - you might need to see a pain specialist - but I get it - I have been there - and I know how difficult it is to get through this

And yes - let Huffnpuff deal with the finances - your health is more important - and if he starts on you walk away - there is no need to listen to him rant - you are worth more than that

I'm still caring a lot

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Shaz51

I hope you don't have sciatica - that is something you don't need right now and I know that pain too - people describe it as shooting - I would have a couple of other words - but it is a pain that comes from the L4/L5 disc and compression on the nerves that run down the middle of the leg causing pain on the outside of the leg mostly and yes - ouch in a big way

But your kidney is tired and worn out too - so do you have pain in your legs or just your back - but whichever it is - it's tough

How are the tests for kidney transplant going? When would you be likely ready to start dialysis - I know you are tired out too and it would be good to get your blood refreshed I am sure

I am wishing your the best through all of this

Re: not feeling good

hi @Maggie @Owlunar @Shaz51 @Molliex @Faith-and-Hope @MDT and others reading
I'm so confused and emotional.
saw my doctor this morning. He's referred me to a surgeon for my hand. X-ray showed slight wear and tear lower lumbar and bursitis in hip which I already knew.

I made an appt to see this surgeon next Thursday. Hoping he can operate ASAP.
I need to let work know sbout heavy lifting and my surgery. But I'm very worried that I may not have a job after this. As casual they can tell me anytime they have no wirk or less hours. I don't get sick leave.
do I tell them now or wait until after I see the surgeon???

What do I do???

Re: not feeling good

Does the surgeon decide on whether or not you can lift things @BlueBay
?

Re: not feeling good

If so then it's best to leave it and see what the surgeon says I would imagine @BlueBay

That way you don't do anything pre emptively maybe
