not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Talked about emotions today and sitting with it. I struggled so much I ended up crying because I had a few emotions at once.
Then there was this lady who knew it all. Everytime the psychologist said something she would pipe up. It was so annoying. Then we talked s our goal setting. I told the psychologist I struggle with goal settings with my eating disorder. She says to me "well I'm into fitness and can't you just have one biscuit" I said it's not that easy. Who the f..k is she telling me. Does she know how hard it is.
At this point the psych explained to her it's exactly like alcohol addiction.
she later on days to me "oh I don't like the words good or bad" after hearing me say that in conversation to the psychologist.
omg I was so angry with her. After that each time she opened her mouth I doodled on my paper.

I was so upset. I was crying in the car. Had to sit there fir about 15 mins.

ive emailed my dietitian because he knows how hard it's for me.
fir this lady to say this has made me feel like people are judging me. And I don't like her.
Just because she's a skinny person. Parades around like she's someone if high importance.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I hear you - I have met people like that in groups and actually they are a pain - they are self- actuating - using the group to - well - take over - and for what reason that makes them feel better about themselves

But here's the thing - you know how hard it is for you and there is not way you can tell her that because she's not likely to hear you - and anyway - does she matter?

You say that you feel as if you are being judged by people a lot - that's not your business actually - people will think something regardless - and that's okay - my first suggestion is to say don't worry about it

But you do and I know that - what can you do? You are there to share in the group and it's unfortunate that you have someone there who always has something to say - and it will grate

One thing is to learn to speak up - and I have sat in groups and doodled and stared out of the window and switched off too - but I didn't get much out of groups doing that

So - what did I learn? It's so long ago now but I did learn not to take what other people said to heart - that is the first thing I can think of - I did learn in time to speak over other people - which might or might now work

So - here you are given time to have your say and no one is judging you - in life - few people actually do I am sure and those that do are not worth the worry - mostly people are busy worrying about guess what? They are bothered by what other people are saying - and not just you

People in groups are vulnerable - I know this - and let me think about it for a while - because you are important to me and valuable and I know you find this hard. But really - there is no need to worry about that woman - you did right to check in with your dietician - I don't know much about eating disorders - my suggestion would be not to keep food like that in your house but I know your kids want it

So I hear - it's not easy - and at times for anyone - one is not enough

You''ll be okay

Re: not feeling good

That sounds like such a tough session @BlueBay

It's good to hear your dietician is a good source of support. Like others, sitting with you while you ride those waves

I'm going to speak to the therapist and let him know I was upset. My dietitian replied and said ignore this lady. He said a lot of people don't understand eating disorders.

Re: not feeling good

I suggest you ignore this person @BlueBay - after all - what can you do about her or other people like her?

As for Huffnpuff - you know he suffers from learned helplessness - this is something you need to discuss when you share therapy sessions with him - yes - I know he doesn't want to go - what a pest that has to be -

You could refuse to do housework when he refuses to take care of extra financial burdens - after all - you are working too and you are doing your share because you do most of the house work - and that is hard work - he said that himself

It's rough BlueBay - you do feel undervalued so much - and he could help - so he does need to learn and you need to tell him this

Yes - I know - I've been there and I'm so happily divorced - that's a choice I guess

But I do care
