not feeling good

my dictir thinks it's carpal tunnel but is sending me to a neurologist professor.
he wants me to wear a brace for two weeks and then see.
but then I told him about my headaches and my BP was 199/100. Far too high. He's now added another medication.
he said he feels sorry for me because I will be feeling pretty awful eith my blood pressure going so up and down.
need to stop typing my hand is bad.
I feel horrible. I feel like I need a good cry.
I can't wear brace to wirk otherwise they'll say something and I wouldn't be able to do my job.

Thanks for the update @BlueBay ... Yes your BP is way too high and would definitely be affecting how you feel. Perhaps your mental anguish over the police funerals etc has sent your BP higher? I hope the new BP medication helps .. and quickly.

Carpal tunnel is what I was thinking too ... says Dr Sherry! Wearing a brace will help, so I hope you wear it as much as you can. Its definitely better than putting up with the constant pain and tingling pins and needles. Do you have an appointment yet with the neurologist? I hope it happens soon, but thats probably unlikely. I know how specialists are, when it means trying to get in to see them sometimes. And with COVID shutdowns, its probably even harder to get in to see them. Its not something which can be done with a telehealth appointment.

Yes I expect a good cry would do you good. Any privacy for you there now, where you can go and do just that?

Hi @Former-Member my D and I went for a walk in the rain. It was nice. I had to get out for a bit. I'm resting up now. Changed into my pjs. Daughter is going to cook dinner. Making meatball sauce for pasta. Yum can't wait to eat dinner.

Good to hear you went for a walk @BlueBay . I read that you might have carpal tunnel? Sorry to hear it. I think I also read you took the day off work, you must have needed it ❤ dinner sounds yum, better when you don't have to cook. I'm making fried rice with Mongolian tofu xx

I was thinking about your hands and wondering if you have arthritis - I do and the cold weather makes it harder to deal with and I have tingles too - and pain -

And I find it worse if I have my hands behind my head or in anothe position where the circulation is cut off for a short time

Yes - It is hard to manage when our hands hurt like that

It seems as if everything is building up around you atm - and I feel the main problems are the lack of privacy and the recent funerals for members of the police force

Have a good cry when you can - it is allowed to go out for a walk for exercise and seeing as you live close to the beach you can walk down there and have a good cry -

We shall know next week if the lock-down restrictions will be eased next week - and we can start going about our normal business - it will make a huge difference to all our lives when we can

Who would have thought this kind of thing would happen

And you are worried about your daughter and little A too - I get that - I understand

woke up eith a horrible headache this morning. I'm going to call my doctor this morning and see if he wants me to come in and check my BP. It could still be high.

glad I'm not working tiday.
I can't even type as my hand is tingling

it's so damn annoying

I'm worried my hand will get worse.

having the flashbacks isn't helping my anxiety. Also the other day the smell of cigarette smoke gave me the creeps. I felt very uncomfortable. It reminds me of my brother as a teenager. Horrible.

@Owlunar you mentioned arthritis. I've been having sore knuckles on my second finger right hand. If knocked it's quite painful. But trouble is I csnt tske meds for inflammation as I react terribly with my stomach.
I better go snd have a shower.
