not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Good to hear @BlueBay that your son is organising something for dinner tonight. Saves you having to do something.

It must be difficult for all of you, to see little A head off to her Dad. Definitely understand your anxieties around that.

It has been cold Bluebay, and it probably makes all your aches and pains worse. Glad you have the hot pack deployed.

Sorry you have had the old flashbacks again ... any flashback is dreadful, but I expect childhood trauma instigated ones are even worse. I really feel for you. Its pretty normal to be experiencing negative thoughts as a result. I have been getting some of that too recently. Its great that your psych is keeping an eye on you.

Always remember BlueBay ... none of what happened was your fault. Yes, you were a good and very young girl back then. And you did nothing wrong.

I get that you hate your brother. Only a couple of nights ago, on my thread, I wished my abuser dead. So yeah, I get that. Different circumstances, but same result. Ongoing trauma and suffering.

Sitting with you.

Re: not feeling good

I hate fights, disputes, arguments, aggression, too @BlueBay . I just dont deal well with anything like that. Causes me to feel that I need to escape. Like I did here when I left last month. 😐

I dont know where you could go to. Your parents perhaps? A friend or work colleage may be happy to have you stay for a night or two. I know money is tight, so a motel may be out of the question.

Not sure what your visiting restrictions are in VIC now? NSW now permits visitors, with some restrictions lifted since yesterday. Keep restrictions in mind, dont need a fine.

Failing that ... can you retreat to your room for a while .. have a quiet read of a book, or listen to some relaxing music?

I will sit with you if you'd like. Just finishing a glass of wine now that dinner is over. Would you care for some?

Thanks for being here both of you. It really helps to know people care. I was thinking and feeling so alone. I just need to be alone. Lots of negative thoughts crashing through my mind.

Re: not feeling good

I would think its unlikely to be related to stress or anxiety, given your description @BlueBay , but I really dont know. Definitely need to get it seen to by a medical professional. Should be okay to wait until Monday, but suggest you try to avoid using your hand as much as possible over the next day or two, and monitor how it goes. Do you use your arm and/or hand a lot in your new job? Perhaps your neck and/or upper back could be affecting things down the arm. Your right handed arent you? If it were your left arm, and it was painful, I would be more concerned .. due to possible heart issues. But right hand/arm thats unlikely. Of course if you are seriously concerned ... go to your local hospital.
