not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Did the ACT therapy and it was ok. We talked about values and also about our week. I got upset when I had to speak. So I walked out for a few minutes. One of the psychologist cane out and I told her I'm not coping eith being hime. I miss my job. And I'm starting to panic because as the time to end of March is getting closer I'm getting more and more anxious.
I did go fir a very short walk. And then collapsed in a heap and fell asleep.
did some colouring in outside. It was nice.

Re: not feeling good

I'm so sorry you are anxious 💜

Would it help to make a list of your skills so you can remember how much you have achieved in the past?

Sorry to read about how you're feeling @BlueBay . Is there something you can do to self soothe? Take a hot bath, light a fragrant candle?

Re: not feeling good

This is a major adjustment period for you right now @BlueBay ... not working is a major change for you. I think people who retire probably go through something similar?

But BlueBay there is every point in continuing ... you have so many wonderful things and people in your life. Definitely worth continuing on for. Work will sort itself out in time, and you have time. Perhaps too much time right now? It gives you too long to think about all the negatives. Which is something we all do if we dont channel our thoughts into a more constructive place. It can be a real trap I think.

Yeah anxiety is the absolute pits ... I totally agree. But you wont always feel this way, I know things will turn around for you. You have skills which future employers will find very valuable. You have contacts in your local community. Something will come up. Try to relax a little for at least a couple of weeks and then start actively seeking employment. You will hopefully have your medications sorted and be feeling more on top of things by then. I wish you had the faith in you, that the rest of us here have.

Thinking of you and urging you to keep up the good work you have already started. Check your lists again .. they are very worthy and achievable goals. Remind yourself each day. Sending a loving hug your way.

Sherry 💕

Im losing hope. I did ACT therapy group as an outpatient today.
I asked local supermarket today. Nothing at the moment. That's made me even more depressed and anxious. 😢

maybe it's because I'm tired
