not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay .. I am here to sit with you for a bit. We can sort out what best to do. I have to agree with @Owlunar though, that it is not a good idea to drive in this state of distress. Are you at home in the car, or heading home? Wondering if it may be an idea to call your hubby to come and drive you home. Agree also with Dec that it would be a wise move to call your CAT team. Its still a few days before Mondays hospital admission.

Re: not feeling good

I didn't drive @Owlunar

I just left my dietitian and after talking about wirk hospital sbd my eating disorder - I lost it in the car. I sat there fir a good few minutes before driving off.
I did consider calling the CAT team but I managed to be ok. I'm hime niw. I'm safe fir now.
One thing my dietitian said to me is that I'm still walking which is good and also haven't weighed myself for a month. He is concerned that my mental health isn't great but understands that the past circumstances have affected me.
he is worried as the hospital do weigh ins on admission and then weekly. He doesn't want me weighed as he knows the numbers will def affect my mentsl state.
but there is a scale in the foyer of our rooms. I used to weigh myself twice a day when last admitted. Now I'm worried what to do.

@Former-Member @Owlunar Can't remember if I told you that I called the CAT team this morning. I wasn't coping and hime alone. They have kept my name on the list in case I call this weekend. And they are going to check that I'm going to hospital in Monday and admitted.

@Former-Member @BlueBay

I think I understand something about how change affects you @BlueBay - my son found it difficult to deal with change and he knew what it was called - Transitional Ambivalence - his unhappiness followed him around like his personal black cloud and I could almost feel it myself when I sat beside him - the memory saddens me to this day

There's really nothing any of us can do to help you with this but we are walking with you - we care about you and we are very hard to drive away

Monday will come but if you feel really bad knee in touch with us and the CAT team - in fact - ring them anyway and we are here for you

It's tough - really tough - I can hear that

Do I tell them I'm away on holidays ??

in hospital??

What do I tell them?

2. also - one job I applied for is 2 days a week tues and wed. But problem is as of 5 feb Wednesday's I'm doing an 8 week course on acceptance and commitment therapy at local hospital. It's 2 hours 10-12.

what do I say if i get an interview. I need to tell them.

Not sure what to do.

Re: not feeling good

Hi @BlueBay

I am afraid I am not that experienced in such matters. However I think that it is fine for you to advise a prospective employer of when you are available to be interviewed and when you are available to start the job, without giving any explanation. What other committments you may have is really your business I think. What do others reckon?
