not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: not feeling good

hello @BlueBay @Faith-and-Hope

gosh so much has happened since when you first announced you are going to be a nonna

life is so unkind, ruthless at times

I read back over your posts.

You mentioned reducing your medication, taking something for horomones and a liver detox

medication change on it's own nearly always has side effects

hormone treatment of any sort will have effect on your physical symptoms as well

liver detox.. i know of people who have done this and they were wiped out for weeks.

No wonder you have lumps on your head. don't mean to be rude.

Has your doctor discussed or checked any of this rather than just prescribe cortisone cream?

were all of the changes checked by a pharmacist before proceeding?

naturopathy is good but can cause much harm if not taken seriously, also taken into account with pharmaceutical medications.

I dont want to alarm you at all. I just think that these major changes would have caused a massive wave of change in your body and of course your emotions. Fatigue also.

I do hope that the professionals are taking all of this seriously.

If all of the above has been taken into account, then a big phew from me. I am just concerned for you.

Please look after you and as I have been reminded dont read about other people's issues even though they mean well. we can so easily take on other's pain and we have more than enough of our own.

please look after yourself lovely lady xxxxxx

Faith, I think you will understand where I am coming from are you able to offer any more?xxx

Hi @Former-Member
No my GP keeps saying it's stress. They always put things down to stress. I did check with naturopath about my meds and he said it was ok. I don't know what to do. I will talk to my psych on Tuesday and psychologist as well. They know I'm taking the hormone powder but not the liver detox. I will tell them.
When I had one I ended up with an infection and hospital fir 5 days on antibiotic drip. But now I can feel more. Could it be toxins coming out of my body. I think I shld get a referral to dermatologist. I'm so exhausted going to lay down for a nap. Chat later. Thank you for chatting and supporting. Hugs to you. Xxoo

Re: not feeling good

hello @BlueBay @Faith-and-Hope

I am writing this now while I can remember and also before I go off the computer for a while.

I know that you are tired and having a lay down so when you first see this do not bother reading any further just relax as you need to.

Dont panic...please

Yes toxins being released play havoc - try not to diagnose yourself that makes things worse because so many symptoms are similar for so many different causes.

Forget about dermatologist or specialist, doctor needs to work that out.

when you are up to it I think that it would benefit you to make a gp appointment and let the gp know everything that you have taken. Write down names before you go if that helps prepare you.

Can someone go with you if you are so tired. even if they sit in waiting room nice knowing that you have some support.

Stress word is overused and in my mind often a quick way out if they dont have an immediate answer.

Detox should be done under guidance of doctor so doctor needs to thoroughly examine you and listen to you. perhaps even take some blood tests.

You will get through this Bluebay, your body is just reacting to so many changes at once.

Pray for God's strength. He understands your emotional state even better than you do. Keep reaching out. Please know that you're not alone just now. Please be gentle with yourself today.

Re: not feeling good

Thanks @Former-Member

Last week I tried to find information on google but couldn't work out what it is. When I was in hospital with the one that was infected; the doctor there said it could be a cyst; then they said shingles, then a spider bite. It was swollen and my face on the same side of lump was swollen. I couldn't even sleep on that side because it was so sore. Ever since then i have been so exhausted.

My gp says stress becasue he knows i am stressed but it annoys me because doctors are too quick to say 'stress'. My iron has been checked is okay. So the other day he gave me some cortisone cream to put on them - making no difference.

OK, i am going to make another appt for this tuesday and tell him what i am taking. what do i tell him, should i say i need to see someone else for another opinion, a specialist. what tests can he do.

i have stopped the liver detox powder for now to see what happens.

last night i tracked my sleep with my iphone - i had woken up in total over an hour, slept lightly for over an hour and was in a deep sleep for 6.

going to do again tonight to track my sleep and see how i go.

chat soon.

Re: not feeling good

hello @BlueBay

good news that you are sleeping our body needs sleep that is when all the healing happens- dont worry about tracking it unless someone has told you to do this. just one more thing for you to worry about. you dont need any more you need less.

we need to help reduce your list

main thing to do is try to calm yourself, whether you use listening to music, sitting watching the waves at the beach, meditating, reading, whatever works for you that causes the least effort

has cyst on face whilst in hospital gone? or is this same one?

yes make appointment with gp. is this your regular gp? do they have your past details, hospital admission, medication details etc?

make a list before you go:

1. all medication including naturopathy, detox, paracetamol , every single thing that you have taken

2. list when started, if still taking, when stopped for each one.

3. any changes in cyst, improvement, same, worse from cortisone cream

so a list basically is good, keep it simple, keep you calm

dont worry about other specialists, stick with telling your gp.

your body has been through a lot of reacting and different medication in the last month or so, as well as a hospital stay.

focus on your relaxing, meditating, calming methods you have been taught. I know as I am writing this how hard it is to do. I am doing the same myself at the moment.

be gentle and kind with yourself xxxx

Re: not feeling good

Hi @Former-Member
I'm trying to not worry. I am going to make an appt with the GP who saw my first lump and sent me to hospital. He is a good doctor too.
I will take with me what I'm taking.
Cyst is still there but much smaller but I now have a small bald patch. Swelling went down when I was discharged. I thought maybe i could have post viral symptoms that's why I'm so exhausted. Yeah my body has had a lot lately. 5 days of very strong antibiotics via a drip because I am allergic to most antibiotics. Then made my stomach terrible with side effects from antibiotics. I'm a mess aren't I. It's really affecting me mentally and depression
