not feeling good

not feeling good

At the moment i am not feeling good. i feel like my body is in 'run away mode'. i feel my body is running on a high, my head is so mixed up. i have to go to bed and try to sleep, but don't know if i can.

my hormones are everywhere at the moment; my mood is sky high negative. i can't deal with this anymre. all of a sudden i am not feeling good. i think it is anxiety.

i don't know why i feel like this; i just want to cry but can't becsue everyone is home. i am going to bed. i don't know what is going on. actually maybe it is anxiety because i felt like passing out today.

I went to my GP to have my mirena IUD taken out as I had had enough. But he couldn't find the string, so he sent me for a ultrasound. Had that and the guy said i had two fibroids and a cyst on my ovary. but he couldn't find the string either, so had to have an xray to find the metal piece. they didn't tell me anything. but while waiting i was so anxious i almost passed out.

so now i have to wait for tomorrow when my GP will call me at work and let me know what will happen now. hopefully he can take the mirena out. i don't know.

my body is reacting to my anxiety - i feel so shaky, i need to stop. no point telling anyone at home becasue (a) they won't believe me and (b) they prob wouldn't care.

sorry, i had to tell someone. i feel so alone 😞

Re: @Re: not feeling good

I used cheap wash baskets for my kids when they were growing up. I had one in most rooms, and when they left things sprayed everywhere, I would “practice my hoops” and pitch it across the room into the wash basket. When they wanted something, they had to dig through the wash baskets to find it. I tidied up the house around them.

Same in the kitchen. I used a laundry basin and just dumped all their kitchen mess in there so I could access the sink, and tidied up around it. It’s letting them know you’ve got a standard going on, and they are clearly expected to clean what is in the basin.

It’s a way to not get so angry about it cos you are doing something about it .... moving it out of your way and making it obvious in the process.

Interestingly, my kids use washing baskets to tidy up and store things in even now .... lol .... I started a fashion .... wash basket filing .....

@Faith-and-Hope @BlueBay I used boxes in the classroom to do the same thing - it's a bit different from the house but if the kids left things out I would put it all into a box and they would have to search through to find things ...on a much smaller scale than in the home but like @Faith-and-Hope it works.

@Faith-and-Hope @Zoe7 I do have a basket in the laundry and my son has his stuff in there. My d does her own washing and folding. I'm going to put their stuff thats laying around in their room. She has a basket in her room so I'll dump it in there. My son is pretty tidy. I never do his room. He washes his own sheets and doona cover. He vacs his room. The only time I go in there is to open the window for fresh air.
yes I think I will make a cooking roster.
Good idea with the baskets.

Hi @BlueBay

If it happens it happens - let's not worry about things before they happen - and it could be good or it mightn't become any degree of an issue

About your daughter - she is more than stretching the friendship - I understand you don't want to bad-pen your daughter - me either regarding mine - I understand that

But she is not user-friendly - and if it's easier for her to stay in your house than look around that could be what she does

So - I guess she needs to know her choices - it's time for you to practise being assertive and say

"Either you clean up behind yourself and pull your weight around here you will be asked to move out in two weeks regardless of the rental situation"

Tough ask - I know - it's tough love

You might seem to be throwing her out but you have endured this for long enough - and if she can't pick up a broom now - it times for her to learn

She can stay in a motel for a few nights - she has had time to save money living under her roof

omstars - this has gone on for a long time - months and months

All the best BlueBay - I could not live with untidyness - unless it's my own and I am having a bad day or two -

Anyway - I saw the doctor this afternoon - my right knee has been playing up - tenonitis of the patella tendon - that can get better if I take things easy for a few days

Re: @Re: not feeling good

My advice is the same as @Maggie ‘s, leave the house for a walk somewhere @BlueBay. Stay safe, and take yourself to a cafe when you have calmed down .... somewhere with music and a cup of tea or coffee ...... move, and then breathe .....
