Welcome and getting started

Grandparent Alienation

Grandparent Alienation

Hi,

just wondering if anyone has experienced parent alienation through their childhood, divorce and social alienation, and now experiencing grandparent alienation?

Experiencing life is meaningless without my family and there's no solution.

Thanks 🙏

Hey @ELKE88 ,

It seems like there are many who can relate to your post. I hope you have found people's insights helpful.

I acknowledge how difficult it must be for you right now.

@Thyme Hi,

Yes,

The warmth and kind support from everyone is amazing. I feel a sense of familiarity or even perhaps a connection that I haven't experienced in a long time.
I am very grateful that everyone has taken the time to help me through this week as I was unsure of the outcome.
My day has been quite productive which is unusual to feel this way.
My head sometimes gets a bit foggy or aches too much, so please forgive me if ever I repeat myself or not respond as quickly as I should.

Thank you everyone for your kindness.

(still not 100% on navigating these threads )

Re: Grandparent Alienation

It is great to hear you feel somewhat connected and heard @ELKE88 . It is so important that you do not remain feeling like you are navigating this on your own.

For me, the forums have become my forums family. If you ever see me refer to it in this way, it's because of the connection I have felt over the years.

As for navigating the forums, it can be a bit tricky at first. But over time, you'll get there.

Hugs, @ELKE88
