That sounds so hard to deal with @ArraDreaming , especially when it is unexpected.
Has anyone ever worked on strategies with you?
I know I've worked on strategies for panic attacks, but not anxiety so much.

Even if this med doesn't work, maybe there are others? Good to speak to someone who understands about it. I certainly don't.
Maybe even chat to your partner about it to see what she thinks. @ArraDreaming
Main thing is, do what's right by you and your family.

I don't know anything about the meds, but is it possible to take it for a while, get yourself into a routine of going to work, and any changes that are thrown your way, and then get off the meds? As I said, I don't know if it works that way @ArraDreaming Or do you have to take it everyday?

Sounds like there was a lot of frustration around at that time.
Does that mean you have to go and get another prescription? Or do you have one? I read that it was 5-6 years ago when you last took it.
It's good to have a think about whether you want to give it ago again. Consider the pros and cons and allow yourself to make an informed decision as to whether the benefits are worth the risks. @ArraDreaming
