Hi @outlander
It’s so lovely to hear from you 💜
Absolutely! Sharing resources can open up so many doors and I've often found that it’s a really great way to find other avenues of support 💜
I would love to see some of the resources that you‘ve come across in your journey - if this is something that feels comfortable for you to share 💜
I’ve just shared some of the things that I’ve found below:
The first resource that I came across is an organisation called Pain Australia 😊
Pain Australia provides a variety of information about various forms of pain as well as information about different support groups and helplines.
They also provide a National Pain Services Directory and as such, you can search for services in your state.
I’ve just shared the link to their website below:

The second resource that I thought may be helpful is an organisation called the Australian Pain Management Association 😊
Not only do they have some great information about different pain conditions, but they’ve also created a space where people can share their stories and listen to other people’s stories too.
They also provide a variety of different support groups which I thought was really great! For example, they provide support groups for family and friends, men and young people 18 to 25 years of age.
I’ve just shared the link to this particular section of their website below - just in case anyone would like to take a peek:

As well as online resources and support groups, people can also receive support through their Pain Link Helpline.
Basically, the Pain Link helpline offers a lifeline to individuals distressed by living with unrelieved pain and its impacts. Our volunteers clarify issues, assist with action planning, provide practical tips, refer to appropriate services and most importantly listen to your needs to ameliorate the impacts causing the greatest distress to you.
I’ve just shared the link to this particular service below:

Their contact number is: 1300 340 357.
The last resource that I came across is an organisation called Chronic Pain Australia 😊
Not only do they provide a variety of resources such as fact sheets, videos and podcasts in relation to different types of pain, but they also provide an online forum too.
Basically the forum is moderated 24/7 and it enables people to connect online with others who have the lived experience of chronic pain.
I’ve just shared the link to this particular section of their website below - just in case anyone would like to explore this further :

I hope that this helps a little bit and thank you once again for creating such a wonderful space 💜
Take care,
ShiningStar 💜
