Welcome and getting started

Loneliness

Loneliness

I have come onto this site because I want to deal with my feelings of loneliness and because what I have done to date has not been 100% successful

I think that my wellbeing is being undermined by it and I think that my mental health is quite affected as well

I am sure it is possible to overcome loneliness though at the moment I am not sure how to do it

I do everything I can to avoid loneliness and I am afraid of the feelings of powerlessness it gives rise to

If anyone has suggestions or advice I would be grateful for your replies

Re: Loneliness

You can’t do that @Jasmiran

These forums are anonymous and they stop you from posting anything identifying. Nice thought though

Re: Loneliness

Thanks for flagging that @Oaktree .

Yes @Jasmiran , our forums are founded on the guidelines of safety, respect and anonymity. You can read more about our guidelines here https://saneforums.org/t5/help/faqpage/title/community-guidelines

Being anonymous allows members to post in a way that does not identify them as a real person. Guidelines ask members to ensure they do not provide identifying information such as places of work, study, location, social media accounts.

Please reach out to is on team@saneforums.org if you have any questions.

Re: Loneliness

Thank you, I have been spending more time in people's company

It helps a lot. I need to change my life a bit more though because this has been going on for a while
