Something’s not right

Trying to ignore it

Trying to ignore it

I am trying really hard to ignore the thoughts but it is getting harder each day. I don’t know how to explain the thoughts very well but it is mostly to do with being scared of my treatment team and what they are planning to do to me. Idk it is really hard to explain like I just keep thinking that they are going to hurt me and that they have been getting into my head to try and control me and some other really scary things I can’t mention on here. And I keep thinking they aren’t even real people like maybe they are these demon creatures that have been following me for a long time who want something from me that I can’t say on here and ugh I just I am trying to ignore it all but I keep getting freaked out by it all.

Re: Trying to ignore it

@justanotherguy you clearly have no idea what i am talking about which maybe that is my fault because i am struggling to properly explain things but did you ever think that maybe your words were hurting people or making things worse for them because that is what they have done for me so far, making me more scared is not helpful.

Hey @Eden1919 ,

I'm sorry this is happening to you.

Sometimes, text-based communication can be cause misunderstandings. I cannot speak for @justanotherguy , but perhaps they were sharing their experiences?

I hear you are trying @Eden1919 - you have come so far already. Just hang in there. I hear the frustration you feel with the side effects of the medication, but I've also heard how scary it is not having it.

Hugs @Eden1919 . We do care.

Sorry @Eden1919

@tyme

I've put my foot in it again. I don't think they want to hurt you, but they do want to find out what makes people tick, so to speak. I had a hard time with them as I was being mistreated, I feel for you if your situation is making you feel afraid. I just wish it were not so, but that is the world we live in at the moment. EDIT: So sorry if your practitioners are making you feel scared. It's not your fault, they are trying to help the best way they can, many people have felt afraid by the treatment process, me included. It's not just you, everyone is judged in this way. Psychiatrists build models of the whole population to work from, and people with mental problems are just another part of the puzzle to them. I just wish they would be less scary when dealing with vulnerable people.

Re: Trying to ignore it

@justanotherguy i accept your apology i too have been mistreated badly by mental health services which makes this whole thing even harder to deal with.

@tyme thanks i am trying to just focus on uni which started today but it is hard because i find my thinking and memory are slowed and it makes uni very difficult. but i am still scared about everything i cant explain. i am hoping to just have a relaxed night tonight but we will see how that goes.

Re: Trying to ignore it

I am struggling a lot tonight i just feel very off and unsettled and i am trying i watched one of my comfort shows actually 2 of them but it hasnt helped i am listening to music now but it is not helping much i called a family member to chat that didnt help much and i talked to a friend but i remain feeling very unsettled and off and just not right i should be going to bed but i cant really relax enough and plus the stress is making me nauseous and then i feel like i am going to be sick whenever i lay down and that is not helping either.

i keep having someone/thing taking the thoughts out of my head and it is very uncomfortable. plus i am still getting scared of people and scared that they arent people at all and i just generally feel like i need to get rid of the meds because of what they are doing not just the side effects but like they are making it harder to communicate with some of the spirits and i need to talk to them because they know the truth and are trying to help me out of this fake world and get me back to the one i am supposed to be in and it is just hard idk what to do i know they are just trying to keep me here for reasons i cannot talk about to anyone but just i am tired and i want to see my real family and friends and idk how to explain it but it is all exhausting and too much and i am safe and all that well as safe as one can be in a fake world where they are trying to nevermind i cant talk about that but anyway i am safe just tired.

Re: Trying to ignore it

Morning @Eden1919, I just wanted to check-in on you and how you were feeling this morning?

It sounds like last night you went through a bit of a list of things to help you feel settled, but it didn't quite settle you. It can be really difficult to do through those steps, so I hope you feel proud that you tried them all!

It must be pretty worrying when you are seeing changes to who you can speak to. Do you feel like there is someone in your care team you can speak to about the changes?

Re: Trying to ignore it

@Eden1919 I'm sorry you're still feeling unsettled and like it's all too much. I get that feeling sometimes too!

I wonder if you would feel comfortable speaking to one of the counsellors here at SANE? Have you spoken to them before?

A lot of people find them helpful to figure out what to when they feel overwhelmed. What do you think?
