Something’s not right

Trying to ignore it

Trying to ignore it

I am trying really hard to ignore the thoughts but it is getting harder each day. I don’t know how to explain the thoughts very well but it is mostly to do with being scared of my treatment team and what they are planning to do to me. Idk it is really hard to explain like I just keep thinking that they are going to hurt me and that they have been getting into my head to try and control me and some other really scary things I can’t mention on here. And I keep thinking they aren’t even real people like maybe they are these demon creatures that have been following me for a long time who want something from me that I can’t say on here and ugh I just I am trying to ignore it all but I keep getting freaked out by it all.

Re: Trying to ignore it

Hi @Eden1919 I'm sorry it's so scary and that ur having feelings and fears relating to ur care team harming you.

A lot of people go through these feelings and ur not alone.

Is there anyone in ur care team that has been helping?

I hope you are able to get some rest, as well

People say to tell urself ur safe but that's never worked for me...I like what U did better which is open up and share with others. Hope U have some ppl to share with irl too , as these topics are hard to talk about

When I feel really bad I feel like no one truly cares about me and I'm alone and an island. It's painful and scary at times trying to battle my problems alone.

I relate to not trusting ur team and feeling alone. I hope ur ok ☀️♥️🙂

Re: Trying to ignore it

@EternalFlower Thanks for your reply I have a good psychologist who I am not so scared of so that is something at least I guess but it is hard. I am trying my best to just keep on top of things and to not get too scared but it is hard maybe once my appointment is over in a few days I will feel better hopefully anyway.

Re: Trying to ignore it

@EternalFlower Hi the appointment wasn’t great I mean I came out alive so that is the main thing but I am sad they want to put me on another treatment order which means I can’t stop having the injections that I don’t like and they didn’t do much in terms of changing my meds that have been making me so sleepy all the time. So idk what to do I just feel a bit sad about the whole situation but it could have been worse I guess.

Re: Trying to ignore it

That sounds unfair and not helpful I'm so sorry @Eden1919

It is understandable U feel sad I would feel very sad and tired of the system. Its hard how the drs have all the power and we have so little...

Re: Trying to ignore it

@EternalFlower Yes it is very hard the dr just kept talking about how I can’t go off the meds or I will become unwell again but I am just so tired of the side effects and such that I don’t want to take the meds at all. Still I suppose I will just have to see what happens and hope for the best.

Re: Trying to ignore it

Sounds good @Eden1919 you're right perhaps you will be able to get off the treatment order soon and things might change ?

Does ur service offer peer support work or any advocacy connections? Ive read a bit about pro bono lawyers etc that can help people at MH tribunals etc. Hang in there and Im sure good things will come 🤗

Re: Trying to ignore it

@EternalFlower no they dont offer any peer support and i have tried legal aid but they are useless and dont even try and fight for you. i just hope the doctors at least start listening to me about the side effects and actually do something about it because i am just so sick of them.

Re: Trying to ignore it

So sorry @Eden1919 I had the absolute worst experience with legal aid as well...

I hope drs start listening to you as well.

I did not agree with my diagnosis either from the service and am trying to get it changed and removed.

I think U sound logical and U have a right not to take medicines that you feel have bad side effects.

Re: Trying to ignore it

@EternalFlower i guess we will just have to wait and see what happens at the tribunal. hopefully it isnt terrible oh well there isnt much i can do for now i suppose but i will keep trying to explain my side effects to the doctors. i am sorry you have been misdiagnosed i have been misdiagnosed before and it sucks.
