Motion - new pathways - air -sea -land -us

Hello @EternalFlower @StanD

I wanted to come up with an idea that included all three of us as we have helped each other.

EternalFlower you welcomed StanD and myself and stayed with us.

That is the everlasting side of you that stands by people. A beautiful flower.

Is that who you are StanD. I just read that in your name. You are a person who stands by others. Caring and kind.

I am motion wanting to move in new directions find new meaning in life and move away from what has held me back for too long.

I love the boats on the sea and there are many all over the world

The aeroplanes fly all over the world also

What is your choice of travel StanD?

Your turns

Bye

Hope to get around to doing same one day.

What are the tropicals? Ordinary plants?

Yes @tonys

very astute always worked with clients across many areas. Yes leadership roles.

I try not to write formally. I am a bit out of my depth here and am treading water not wanting to rock the boat. I think that security arrived as well.

@Former-Member Mostly cuttings I have taken and propagated from houseplants- monstera adansonii, pothos, tradescantia, dragon tail and some philodendrons. They are fussy little things but I think they are striking which brings me unbridled joy. Have some kind of syngonium going too but lord knows what it's up to...

Re: Motion - new pathways - air -sea -land -us

Thank you so much @LeChuck

That means so much to me.

I am very different and feel as though I no longer fit in this developing community, actually. I have been quiet. Observing.

I sense people are not at ease with me so I am at a loss about what to talk about.

I just want to be myself and be accepted for who I am the same as I accept everyone’s differences anywhere.

I want to support others with their feelings but due to my upbringing, I lived in my own world mostly.

I don’t want to be Captain either.

The position is open for all existing members.

Keep on being yourselves. You are making great connections. I agree I think that there are many reading along.

That was a lovely gesture to invite and include others as well.

Wow @LeChuck

You are an expert.

Houseplants are never happy inside my home.

Might be the dust that I do attend to but settles easy here as we get gully breezes.

We have a pet cat as well.

My garden grows well though and I take cuttings and replant them. Plus plant seeds from some and they do well.

I cannot cope on hot days in the sun though.

@Former-Member I don't think you need to be the captain, always taking charge and directing. I think of you more as the rudder of the ship. You gently steer and support us, always offering new challenging directions and ways of looking at things. Always open to input from the crew and the wheel. And always offering kindness, although sometimes I don't think you realise your own kindness and empathy. Apparently we are on a ship now. I don't mind it. Reminds me of my dad reading me Rime of the ancient Mariner as a child. Such a beautiful haunting story. I think all of us here have an albatross around our necks. Perhaps we didn't shoot it like the mariner did, but we are trapped in purgatory until we can remove that beautiful beast hanging around our throats and set it free.

Re: Motion - new pathways - air -sea -land -us

Thank you @LeChuck

That was a beautifully written response.

You have the gift of putting words together eloquently also.

I am aware of my empathy and my always thinking mind which some are intimidated by.

Yes albatross.

Our minds are incredible aren’t they and we must look after them.

I do much prefer rudder and gently guiding back only out of safety for all of us. Reassurance.

I like that analogy.

You are our cheerleader and raise our spirits.

The ancient mariner is a very long piece of prose. You had a loving father who spent time reading to you. I imagine that you were fast asleep before the ending.

Thank you again for your kindness.

I sense a gentleness and wisdom within you.

I am so pleased that you said hello and then joined us here.

You have helped settle my mind somewhat.

I am actually trying to write some poetry at the moment. For my eyes only not for me to show and tell.

Enjoy the rest of your day.

I need to rest my eyes from screen.

Bye for now

Enjoy writing your poetry @Former-Member but please promise to come back here and write to us soon. I truly value your insights and ideas, and this space that you created would not be the same without your words. You bring a lightness and playfulness at the same time as seriousness and gravity. It's a wonderful juxtaposition. You're incredibly insightful and kind, and I cannot overstate how much I value what you bring to this thread. You're the glue. Sometimes being glue seems thankless and not very glamorous. It would probably be more satisfying to be the diamantes stuck to the glue. But glue is what holds together a 200 year old wardrobe. A kids first science project. My glasses (haha), which let me see the world. I look forward to your every post so you'd better be back soon or I'll be pouting!
