Been feeling a bit sick

How are U all? Wandering if I'm going sane or insane ....have some strong feelings and thoughts about having enough of the MH system tbh

I am interlocked in disagreement with my team on many things and I feel like my private Dr isn't listening to me. I showed up super late and didn't get any support and I'm vulnerable now, alone , and I realise I'm sick of this advocacy.

I'm reading all ur posts and U are truthful to who you are, which is all there is really, you are strong and very amazing.

My treating team are not where I want them to be either. I have made it crystal clear what my needs are. I'm at the point where I refuse to repeat myself.

Where does this leave me?

@Former-Member Thankyou for your letter and I hope mine finds you in good spirits. Ploughed the sorgum paddock, then knocked of for siesta and plough through a few posts. Good reading. @EternalFlower Hi there my friend. I have seen you exploring with new friends and given you space. Saw you tagged me so I just wanted to say I'm always on your side mate. I hope that Your health care workers recognise that failing punctuality, can be a symptom and a warning sign. Now I am not great with things of this nature but I have a sneaky feeling about a couple of folk that will get right into this with you when they see your letter. I am just here to say I am here for a yarn, or a distraction from dark doors when you need it. And you are a very good soul.

Like you too @EternalFlower! you're strong an amazing as well!!! Sounds like you're having a shitty time at the moment. Is there anyone on your team who you feel like can advocate for you and help you sort out the rest of your team?

My day is ok, few ups and downs but I'm hanging in there 🙂 you keep hanging in there too eternal! You're strong and amazing and you can handle this

She is probably having all those new mum emotions. She might have mood swings with the hormones. Play her a soft gentle song on your guitar. I think she will love it. She will really love it.

Unlikely... It's possible, perhaps? But why wouldn't they like you? Are you not good & solid? I think you are.

There is a lot of horrible treatment in the MH system and there no two ways about it. I am voluntary so I think I could leave if I don't like it...I often think of leaving. But then what ? I don't know. I get neglected regularly and told off in the system and have probably developed more anxiety through use of the system. Frankly, it is awful.

I hear you re not wanting to repeat yourself. You're completely right. You made yourself clear and asked for your needs. You communicated. We are still left without our rights respected.

They tell us to ask and speak up and be assertive which we do but that's not the reason...

My treating team never communicates to each other and everything is forgotten. Sometimes I break in pieces and feel I can't cope then I blame myself, I'm not organised or remembering correctly. As if I could fix them...it's hard not to blame yourself. I need to practise being more assertive but know that there is a responsibility on them to make the space safe for me. Sending solidarity

Hey @tonys wise words and powerful to see it written. We get judged for failings that are just warning signs...I am struggling to get anywhere to get out of the home to move to clean all of it...so getting to appointments feels harsh. Time is what it is and no one can wait for me I understand but I don't know what to do as I am just not capable of more now...
