I decided to start a new thread, my new chapter in my life is going to focus on healing my traumas, building resilience and self-worth and taking the steps of achieving mood stability. I am praying this year will be better than the last. Last year the SI got really intense, was so close to losing hope and I felt like my heart was breaking into a million pieces like shattered glass. It all still feels overwhelming, I have a long way to go on my healing journey, but I think I'm starting to feel a bit more hopeful about the future.

I definitely get that - I often feel quite disconnected as well, even if I am out socialising. See how you go today and hopefully you will start to feel a bit better after some rest today 💕@creative_writer

Aww @creative_writer Did you want to give SANEs drop in line a call to chat to someone about what you're feeling right now?
I will also link some other helplines that could be helpful now, theres a good one on this list called friendline that you can call to chat about how you're feeling and it feels like you're just ranting with a friend.
Sending you lots of hugs 💘

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
I’m tired. I’m tired of being almost permanently depressed. I’m tired of migraines. I’m tired of having Cptsd, I’m tired of the physical weakness, sleepiness and fatigue and brain fog I experience on a regular basis. I feel anxiety crawling in my skin, I feel the need to do something self-destructive, having SH and SI right now, though I don’t have access to much right now so I’m safe.

Me, too @creative_writer
I've just finished a text message describing the exact thing you've written here... I'm not feeling like SH yet, though...
Am here if you want to talk it through, OK? 🫂

Re: Piecing the shattered glass together
@Kyle1, I hope you feel better soon 💖🫂💖🫂. It’s not a good place to be in. I’m just sick of being sick physically and feeling so depressed. I’m depressed most of the time, I have a migraine most of the time. Even if the depression and migraine gives me very short respite at times, they both come back in one punch. I can’t really explain the respite periods, it just happens, my brain is too complicated to understand. I can’t exactly live off painkillers everyday either, my stomach won’t cope, I had really bad GERD this year which caused tenderness and pain.
