One year, I was devastated because I lost a beanie... then the very next week, I recieved a parcel in the mail. My sister had knitted me a double sided beanie! I loved it!

She always knits me things and posts them to me. It's a surprise. I recently got 2 more beanies. She knits and crochets dresses, socks, vests, beanies for the kids. They are so cute.

By geez, wool is expensive now! My sis used to spin her own wool. She had a spinning machine at home.

Do people take orders from you?

No I don't like doing orders it's stressful. I just make and give them away

Fair enough @Leeanne1 . I can see it can get stressful to take orders. I used to make wedding invitations and placecards... then it got too demanding so I stopped... but same thing. I couldn't come up with a design so it got stressful.

I didn't make money out of it. I did it because I enjoyed it. But when it became a 'task', it was too hard.

What sort of things do you knit? Anything? Or mainly beanies/blankets?

I' knit blankets, hats crochet toys and I'm knitting a jumper

I see my parents maybe once every 1-2 years. I didn't see them last year.

We all have different journeys and relationships along the way. There's no right or wrong I guess.
