Just sad

Just sad

I miss my mum tonight, and time spent with my little siblings

I wonder what they are up to and if they remember me and all the time we spent together

I am so sad thinking about them all

Re: Just sad

everything is annoying me @tyme dunno why I don’t think being curled up in bed for 3 days helps my mental health, I am looking forward to the weekend, I just have no energy

Nah, nothing set in stone, we will probably go to the beach, there is some nice walks, will go out for dinner, and there is meant to be a nice market
have you been?

Re: Just sad

I haven't been there so I don't know what is special there. With 2 boys, I think the beach sounds good. Let them run themselves out, tired @ArraDreaming .

I guess if you had too much planned, it wouldn't be seen as a holiday!

I'm going to Lake Eildon next week. Looking forward to it because it will be so hot!

Yay! Kid-free holiday @ArraDreaming ! Yay!

It will be lovely!

I know people who own a houseboat. Their sister also owns one... I will be going houseboating for a few days 🙂 Fresh water, warm days, sleeping under the stars, fishing...

I'm looking forward to it.

Re: Just sad

I can see why @ArraDreaming you were disappointed.

But I'm so glad you have made up your mind to go. It will be so special. I'm excited for you.

As for fishing...lol... I can't fish! It's just mucking around with my sister's kids. Let them experience things.

Kids nowadays don't know how to play - I watched 4 episodes of Bluey today. I love the way the parents interact with the kids. That's REAL playing! I wish kids did more of it!

Re: Just sad

That’s really nice @tyme and look I completely agree as a parent, I saw something the other day where families are doing this challenge to spend a certain amount of hours outside for the entire year, which is great for them and each to their own, but our kids spend most of the day outside even with the little one who’s not even 2 yet, our yard is big but safe and we can always see them if we aren’t out there, but I just thought there’s no way we could do that we don’t have to it, going outside isn’t a thing for us it’s just what we do. we are looking to go on more camping trips, hiking trips and 4WD trips now that we are almost out of the baby stage it’s a bit easier
