It's been a bit of a crappy day. The tone of this letter is nothing against you - I wish I could be more spritely & send you magical sunbeams. I think I'm ok? A day or so & maybe I will find myself... This place.. It's not me.

I was scared of the kids at the back too! They were really frightening! On the odd occasion I was back there - it was only because there was one nice person amongst them that I liked, or directions given to me. It was really not my scene. I kind of flitted between social rankings. Perhaps I had one or two people I felt were worth my time from each of the stereotypical hierarchies. That didn't really work in my favour!

Please don't ever feel scared to talk to me - I don't think you do. I will try to be softer & gentle... Well, I will try to be mindful that perhaps I could be.

Hi @tonys how are things for you? I couldn't sleep. It's 3.52am. it's one of those warmish nights & also my legs hurt. Hope you don't mind me dropping in on you this late. The cats are ok - they are picky eaters. I got up & gave them different food.

I have a clock in my room that ticks loudly - at night when it's quiet. Daytime it must turn it's volume down. There are times I don't hear it. Right now the ticking sound is loud & frustrating me.

You taught me two new words. Thanks. Inexorably - that's my favourite...

I'm running out of things to talk about. Maybe I will close my eyes now, & look at the world.
