Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

I’ve been pretty flat. I went shopping but didn’t enjoy it, was too numb and things felt too spacey.

She LOVES history @Birdofparadise8 - she remembers all the facts.

So Sadako is about a girl who was born during WW2 when the atomic bomb hit Hiroshima. She ends up with leukaemia and believes her dream of becoming well will come true if she makes 1000 paper cranes. He last crane was 664 or something around that.

@Birdofparadise8 reading is good. Do you have a to read booklist? What kind of genres do you like the most.

I should know better than to pick arguments with parents. Things escalated after that yesterday. Kinda my fault in a way.

It's actually based on a true story @Birdofparadise8 .

Here's a pic of the statue as a in a memorial park to remember her. She is holding a paper crane above her. Each year in August, people come to place paper cranes here.

This is engraved above the statue:

This is our cry, this is our prayer; peace in the world.

I just found the pdf version online if you want to read it. It's a very light read. Only takes about 20mins or so.

I googled 'Sadako and the thousand paper cranes pdf' - it's the first option.
