Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Tw Not Coping

It would be good to keep your options open though. As much as you want this degree, your MH comes first 🙂 @Birdofparadise8

I somehow believe what is happening may be associated with transition 'nerves'.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Yeah, true I guess so. I just feel very lost right now.

Also, the ACT has screwed me around more if you saw my posts about that @tyme

Re: Tw Not Coping

The ACT? @Birdofparadise8 ? I read about the safety planning, but not the ACT stuff... I'll go back through it. Must have been before today.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Yeah yesterday with the acute care team, I talked to @amber22 and @Former-Member about it.

Re: Tw Not Coping

I'm not sure if i've got this right, but something to do with the acute MH team in St V? @Birdofparadise8

Back then, I was with the NWMH acute team and they were fabulous. I somehow feel you will get more supports available than ACT in Tas?

Re: Tw Not Coping

Just the ACT team here won't send a referral and say they discharged me as I am better, and they helped me get support when they didn't. According to them, they stabalised me. @tyme

Re: Tw Not Coping

hrmmmm... @Birdofparadise8 .

Let's flip this (if you are willing). Perhaps this is an opportunity for you to get a second opinion?

There was a stage in my treatment where I found I wasn't getting anywhere. In the end, I was advised to go to a different hospital in another area to get another opinion.... it was worth it.

In a way, sometimes it's helpful to get 'fresh eyes'. If you know what I mean.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Yeah okay I was hoping to talk to St V but I am just worried they will be the same as ACT here and I don't want to be hurt again @tyme

Re: Tw Not Coping

Understandable @Birdofparadise8 . Perhaps they are saying, "we'll cross that bridge when we get there?" (or when you get there?)

Re: Tw Not Coping

Okay I will wait and see @tyme just really want to get things set up and ready from when I get there so I am safe as possible.
