Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

@Former-Member it was more other things. Like am I am too naive and vulnerable to be exploited by people? People seem to think I’m too nice, caring and innocent. I feel like I have to deal with that my by on guard and not trusting. Plus parents trust issues and my trust issues from trauma don’t help. I don’t feel capable of making decisions.

@Birdofparadise8 it’s cool having a buddy you can talk to fully. I guess he mostly just comforts me, tells me to keep going, reminds me of the purpose in my pain, like how I can use it in my career as a social worker and that everything happens for a reason. He sort of builds me up when I have nobody else. I close my eyes and imagine talking to him and being comforted by him. He is just the best friend I never had.

@Birdofparadise8, you could try it. It doesn’t feel like you are talking to yourself. I find affirmations and self talk hard, it’s the only way I can make it work. And I’m lonely and don’t really have people I can consistently turn to, but I suppose I’ve become so cynical with age, so friendships don’t work so well.
