Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Definitely - that's a really good idea @Birdofparadise8 .

Yes @tyme

I wish right now I could feel remotely better I’m just so exhausted feeling so sad all the time. I swear every day for the past week I just want to crawl into a ball in a hole and not wake up.

One other thing I know we have talked about the safety stuff but I’m really concerned with what to do when I come to Vic and how everything will be changing so quickly and I just feel like I know I will get worse.

Re: Tw Not Coping

@tyme I’ve always found affirmations very hard, it’s so much easier thinking about what a caring third party would say. It helps to think about if there was someone I felt completely safe with, what they would say. Even though this third party is technically me in another font, it doesn’t feel like me.

Yes, there is a lot to consider. But I think it is a good thing that you have reached out to services which are online and over the phone @Birdofparadise8 . This means you can seek support when you are in Melb also.

When you come to Melb, hopefully you can connect with a GP, then have your papers transferred if needed. That way, they can start linking you to appropriate services.

Okay sounds like a good plan @tyme thank sorry to keep going on about it.

If that works, let it be @creative_writer 🙂 We are all different, and hence it's great to connect to an online community and share ideas.

Re: Tw Not Coping

@tyme, yes, the forums are a lovely place to share ideas 🙂 . Maybe I’ll feel better once dinner arrives too.

I think I still have a long road to recovery. I am anxious about the new pdoc. I am thinking realistically, only my psych knows my trauma history, should my other supports be aware of the nature of it, if not the details to better support me. After all, mental illnesses intermingle with each other and make each other worse.

I had meatloaf with potato bake and vegetable. What did you have @tyme.

Re: Tw Not Coping

Tonight, I had kale with green beans, and a beef casserole with veges 🙂 Plain and simple, but nice. @Birdofparadise8 .

Will you need to cook when you come to Melb?
