@Birdofparadise8 I decided to keep Disney+ because I knew I'd want to watch it again.

Flamingo is a darling and I don't like the thought they might be feeling vilified.

@ENKELI when you write “needy”, I read narcissist. I use to describe my ex as “needy” before I knew what narcissism was.

SANE Forum Family are wonderful because of the rules, boundaries, guidelines, accessible reliable information education and well educated lived-experience monitors that constantly support us.

If our personal relationships had the same rules, boundaries, guidelines and monitored support, it would save a lot of grief.

@Glisten I hadn't experienced narcissism prior to meeting this person but yes she was (still is I'm sure) a narcissist and I have always been drawn to the wounded and broken. Probably because I identified as wounded. And now broken.

When I tried to get away she drew me back in, using her kids as bait. She knew my Godson and Goddaughter were my weaknesses. When she cut me off she told me I knew nothing about her kid's lives - no, I just supported them and her financially and emotionally for 8 years. That was when I broke. And further events broke me more.

I had to see HR at work on Friday and I couldn't stop from crying because of the way I'd been treated by 2 separation HR people in my previous job. I'm in tears as I recall it.

My new HR person is amazing and reminded me that this is my job until retirement. I'm not used to that.

I too wish life had the same rules as Sane. We probably wouldn't need Sane then though.
