I have lost a lot of my memory after brain injury, and have some inflammation in my brain due to the immune disease I have (that’s why I have days of less or more function - inflammation changes brain activity), but generally speaking the basics I still remember 🌺🙂💜

I would say it’s not weird to have a good connection, because I think there’s quite a bit in common with our experiences and our current activities (like uni and study), which keeps us chatting along 🙌🏻☺️

thinking about vulnerability, I have the view that being here there is a mutual trust that is the foundation of the forums, and so this sets us up to be able to be safely vulnerable, and when things aren’t going well, having a safe place to be vulnerable and be heard would naturally build connection, from the way I understand it 🙂

One other thing. Are you still in the volunteer mandatory period on the forums as part of the Peer Guide course, or have you finished it and are staying on longer?

I feel this might be my anxious attachment stuff coming in ahh that you will leave. I don't even know why I'm thinking about this. It just came to me.

I’m still in my volunteer placement, and I think I have at least a few weeks to go, based on when I started and having missed a shift here and there 🙂

I haven’t openly discussed what happens afterwards, however please don’t be concerned about the thought of leaving at this time, as that is not happening at all at this stage ☺️🌺

and when I finish the peer guide volunteer placement, I am guessing I can keep my login and keep chatting away 🙂

I just want to reassure you that my intention hasn’t been to come to the forum and complete my placement, and then leave 🙂

I’ve always intended to stay on, and contribute to this world of support happening here 🌺☺️
