Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Not Coping

Sorry, I think that made me more confused @Former-Member

Sample 2.5, 1, 1, 8 mm right finger

Mean 3.13

STDEV 3.33

Sample 15, 6, 20, 8 mm left palm

Mean 12.25

STDEV 6.45

It's on Sensory Receptive Field Sensitivity.

See, the stdev is only slightly different from the left palm, where it has a bigger difference.

Re: Not Coping

that would illustrate larger field with less precision on the left, given those results, @Birdofparadise8 ..?

sorry if my answer was confusing - I’m a bit tired and writing isn’t my strong point (I’m much better explaining things verbally).

Re: Not Coping

Yes, I would say so @Former-Member

That's okay. I get it.

Re: Not Coping

The larger increment standard deviation mathematically demonstrates that the left contains a larger spread with less accuracy, from what I remember when I studied stats.
what do you need to demonstrate with these results @Birdofparadise8 ..? 🙂

thanks for understanding, too, regarding feeling old and tired..sometimes it just catches up 🌺

Re: Not Coping

What do you mean by demonstrate @Former-Member?

Oh, you're not old.

Like explain how it works or something?

In response to: Re: Not Coping

Re: Not Coping

Yep, what are you required to show, or explain, from the results you have found @Birdofparadise8 🙂

Thanks - some days age seems fluid, when you’re old! Some days feel the same as 20 years ago, and some days feel like I’m 20 years into the future in terms of how my body feels! Hehe 😉 🙌🏻

Re: Not Coping

Yeah, I do. It's so fun, hahhaha.

Oh, that's not good. @Former-Member

What have or are you having for dinner?

Re: Not Coping

Is it going ok there with the intro and discussion 🙂

@Birdofparadise8

oh, it’s ok dearest - just part of life 🌺☺️

I had chicken sausage rolls, and some more steamed veg, with a berry and banana baked pastry I made the other day and froze (a bit like a Danish without the custard).

what will you have? 🙂

Re: Not Coping

I'm looking at the hypothesis at the moment. I'm unsure if it's any good. @Former-Member

Oh yum, do you have the recipe for the berry pastry?

I had leftover lasagna I got yesterday at the shop. I wasn't stuffed to cook. It didn't taste too bad. Not as good as mine, though.

Re: Not Coping

Does it contain all the elements required of a good hypothesis, like discussed here @Birdofparadise8 (I hope it’s helpful 🙂)

I cheat a bit - I use puff pastry..

ingredients are either frozen (defrosted) berries of any kind, and if I have leftover bananas I want to use.. mash them into chunks all together, add a dash of vanilla essence (if you have it), sprinkle of raw sugar and I add a pinch of any of the following: ground cloves, nutmeg, or cinnamon, depending on what I feel like.
then, when the pastry sheets are flexible, I place it on one side, then fold over into one large pastry pocket, pressing and folding the edges together using a tiny bit of milk brushed around the edges. I slice some vent holes on the top so it doesn’t pop the sealed edge with steam as it cooks, and I pop in the oven at 180 for as long as it takes to go golden brown on top. I use baking paper on a flat tray.
it’s very simple and quickie dessert (I sometimes defrost the berries gently in the microwave first)

🙂

lasagne sounds nice - especially when it’s really to go! But I agree, home cooked is always so yum when it’s lasagne ☺️
