Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

I hope they help @Former-Member

I really don't know if I want to go to the pool like I know I should but my motivation is so low.

Re: Not Coping

That’s understandable @Birdofparadise8

Does it usually help you feel any better to go swimming?

Re: Not Coping

I guess @Former-Member

I'm working on my lab report.

I don't know. Maybe I'm just being lazy by not going.

Re: Not Coping

I think I might just continue on my lab report and go to the pool tomorrow.

Re: Not Coping

That makes sense @Birdofparadise8 , having the lab report to do 🙂

Re: Not Coping

1300 to 2000 words, and I've got 1100, but that's including tables, graphs, figures and questions, so I'm not sure. The word count doesn't include the tables, etc.

I need to do an introduction and discussion.

Once I've finished the discussion, I'll see how many words I have.

Do you know much about the mean and standard deviation, and if they are similar, is that a bad thing?

Re: Not Coping

Sounds like the word count so far is about on track, if you have the discussion and intro yet to do, @Birdofparadise8 ..? 🙂

I’m pretty sure in most instances, ‘mean’ means the average (mathematically) of the data set in question, and standard deviation is dispersement of the data relative to the mean, in both directions. Standard deviation can be tightly packed, like if all the units of data used to calculate the mean are all close together (ie: they are within a short spread like having a total difference of only 5 out of your entire data set..eg you have 50 numbers, but they only differ by a maximum of 5), or loosely distributed (like having a difference of 45 over the entire data set..eg, you have 50 numbers, and they differ by a maximum of 45).
hopefully that makes sense?
mid you’d like to share some data, or concepts that you’re looking at, feel free and I’ll do my best to help explain
