Hey there @Birdofparadise8 🌺🙂
to be totally honest with you, neither did I not that long ago. I sought out various organisations that help with building emotional coping mechanisms, skills, and various tools online, and I did a few classes (which were great because I got to speak in online seminars with people who were experiencing similar stuff). 🙂
Now, I tend to gravitate towards peer oriented communities of practice online, where skills are discussed and shared, as well as advocacy (self advocacy through to systemic advocacy), and reflection happens (introspection around personal growth and development regarding peer work and peer relationships).
I used to be alone, now I have a few really great like minded peers that I speak with every couple of days, and we talk about feelings, MH conditions, our own symptoms and how they effect function in a variety of ways, and also about the importance of caring connections is to personal wellbeing.
it took me some time to get to this point, however I thought I’d describe it as an example .. feel free to comment 🌺☺️
Otherwise today, I’ll be doing a bunch of medical appointments, which is always a bit draining, however I’ll be on the forum a couple more times today 🙂🙌🏻
Hows the cue cards coming along? I hope your day goes smoothly 🌺☺️
