Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Not Coping

@Former-Member and @Birdofparadise8 I need to get my assignment done, but I've just been so distracted, it's due on Tuesday. I don't know how to re-direct my brain

Re: Not Coping

Ah yes, and here’s the rub, @Birdofparadise8 .. it’s mostly voluntary, but my internal values won’t let me wait till paid positions are developed; if it needs to be done, I like to think there’s no time like the present 💜🙂🌺

Re: Not Coping

Maybe you could take a walk and recenter? @creative_writer

Right okay @Former-Member

Re: Not Coping

I’m really sorry things are too floaty to settle down and get things arranged for getting work done at the moment @creative_writer ❤️‍🩹💜

Do you want to have a quick nap to reset, if that is the kind of thing that works for you? 🌺

Otherwise I was thinking that submitting a request for extension might be good to consider this weekend, to take some of that urgency distraction away… what do you think dearest? 🌺

also, if you feel we can help organise the assessment task, feel free to post some of the issues and we can work through how to map it out if you’d like? 💜🙂🌺

Re: Not Coping

Hey @Former-Member

I'm working on the second research question, and we have to do the PICO again. How do I work out the control if I have different research articles?

Problem: Depression and low levels of emotional intelligence.

Intervention: Increase in self–compassion.

Control:

Outcome: Lower depression and increase in emotional intelligence.

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 darn I missed it!

What are you doing today? Did you get the presentation completed?

I'm not doing much, finishing a mandala diamond painting and I might do some gardening later.

Still have to find the computer power cord my bitch ex friend packed separately from the computer 🤬

Re: Not Coping

What did you miss @ENKELI?

I'm getting there.

I have five things left to do for it, but one is a five-page quality aprasile form.

Oh, that's weird. How have you been charging your computer normally? I thought you used your tablet or something.

Can you show us a photo?

Re: Not Coping

Hey there @Birdofparadise8 🙂🌺

Is that still qualitative in nature? If so, often there isn’t a control so to speak, just a comparison with no intervention in gen pop from other studies…

also, your Intervention statement sounds a bit more like an outcome rather than an intervention.. for instance, if it was an intervention, maybe it would be: ‘increase of self-compassion interventions including the/using the …method of …’

Hopefully that makes sense? 🙂💜
