Not Coping

Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Thank you

Re: Not Coping

That sounds very concerning @creative_writer 🥺

I think it’s a good idea to visit a centre that supports urgent care outside of an emergency department, like the type kindly suggested by our @Birdofparadise8 💜🌺

It is not normal to be having unilateral weakness, and urgent care needs to be ruled out by face to face checks dearest 💜🌺

What's happening?

Re: Not Coping

@Birdofparadise8 💜🌺☺️

I’m helping some researchers with consumer perspectives in cancer research, so I’m their consumer contributor ..my role is to review their research proposals for consumer relevance across the widest populations and geographical locations as possible, while ensuring that all patient engagement components of the research are ethically conducted by ensuring trauma informed and person centred practices are included (say, if the researchers need to have patient involvement for any reason during their research).

I usually get research proposals just before ethics committee submission..this is when I can include a bunch of wellbeing and person centred stuff so the research project is much more relatable and applicable to both participants and end users in the community.
I love doing this, because I can be the conduit between what the medics and PhD candidates think up and develop in labs for health, and the people they want to engage for testing and the end users in communities. I’m the oracle in the matrix lol 🙌🏻😀😉🌺

@Former-Member and @Birdofparadise8 I can't escape from these thoughts, they want me dead. I jumping back and forth, i don't understand what I want. Do I want to continue or do I want to give up?

I'm sorry

Re: Not Coping

I kind of fell into it a bit @Birdofparadise8 🙂🌺

I was advocating independently, and spoke to someone about how I used to teach at tafe and other institutions, and they referred me to a place (research institute), who then referred me to another larger one, then from there I’ve been sent a number of opportunities across different research institutions 💜🙂🌺
