Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

but today the cafe up the road that’s been “opening soon” since 2020 finally opened so I went for a walk up there for a takeaway coffee, it was exciting everyone in my community was like ahhh it’s happening

I am working tomorrow as well. It is my tricky mid week day because I finish at 10pm tonight and then go into the office tomorrow for 9am. On the commute I try and listen to a podcast and close my eyes to try relax a bit before a busy day and after a late night. Do you start work a bit later tomorrow? @Birdofparadise8

We’ve had some wild fires here @amber22. The fires around here have made international news at times. We had one that was that bad it was making its own storm cell. The storm cell created lighting. It was terrifying. It wiped out whole villages. I live in regional nsw.

I have the app too. This one is 19kms from me. One of the ones last week was 2 kms but burning in the other direction.

It is a good memory, shame about the company! 😜

Oh wow that is insane! Do you find it scary when you get the alert that it is 19kms away from your area? I remember a few years ago when I would get an alert I would be so nervous even if it was 50kms away because I didn't know how quickly it would spread. I hope that some rain comes for you soon.

I do! But it is my favourite shift because I get to catch up on everyones days and see how everyone on the forums is going 🙂 It is annoying that I have to start early tomorrow but it's a good thing I really enjoy what I do! What do you do for work? @Birdofparadise8

The one that was 2kms away made me realise that the is only two rows of houses between me and a massive dry area. @amber22. But 19kms is too far away to worry about.

The next 2 days I don’t have much in just appointments. I have organised lunch with a friend on Friday and I get my new mattress delivered. Saturday and Sunday I haven’t planned anything yet. I’m hoping to hear from work on Friday but if I don’t the weekend is going to be really stressful.

Do you have much planned?
