Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

She was in hospital for rehab after her surgery, but they had to take her off her a medication as it was getting to toxic levels in her system as she isn’t getting enough fluids. So they are taking her to ICU. Yeah your right she will hopefully be able to get the care she needs. Thank you

I spent the first few days after it in a pretty bad headspace but my nurse was fantastic @amber22. I didn’t do much other than sit around or go back to bed. I had a lot of trouble trying to get over myself.

Yesterday I tried for some structure in my day. But today I am the same as you in that I woke up super early. I have been on the go since.

Luckily, there is no better place for her to be than a hospital in this situation. I hope she makes a swift recovery ❤️

Ah I see, well I really hope that she feels better soon and gets the fluids that she needs. It is really nice to know that they will look after her so well there and provide her with what she needs. Did they mention how long she might be in the hospital for, and are you allowed to go and visit her anytime soon? That might help to make you feel a bit better if you see how she is going @Birdofparadise8

That is so great to hear how amazing your nurse was for you the other day @Captain24 I am glad that you are feeling a bit better, it is only natural that it put you in a negative headspace and feel stressed, but now that there is a way forward I hope that you are starting to feel a bit better about it all.

What made you wake up early today? We both deserve a big sleep tonight!!

Apparently you can use [the medication] for depression and bipolar it was first used for depression a long time ago my pop said.

I know I shouldn’t make it about myself, but it’s now just another thing on top of my own depression to worry about. If she dies I will be utterly devastated because we have a very close relationship and a special bond between us. I just don’t think I will cope. Now I’m just catastrophing things though saying the what if.
