Not Coping

Hey everyone how are you all?

@RiverSeal @Shaz51 @NatureLover @tyme @Former-Member @Eve7 @Former-Member @amber22 @Jynx @FloatingFeather

I'm not doing great at all today. I'm feeling down. I also keep beating myself up for everything and feel like I'm just failing. I need a break from everything. It's getting so hard that I don't know how to keep going anymore especially since I can't talk to anyone around me as they are leaving me or don't understand.

Hope you don’t mind me reaching out I just really need a chat and though I could come on here and vent and talk for a bit.

Hell yeah! @Birdofparadise8 . I'm always on to other things. I've done a lot of things in the past, but I find peer work super rewarding.

There are so many areas in general peer work people can do. Phones, forums, face to face, case management. It's endless.

I'm still really surprised I got into it in the first place. Particularly since I had my career down packed, as a teacher.

I didn’t realise you were a teacher may I ask how long for and what grade did you teach and what gave you the push to change @tyme

I taught for about 15 years. I did preschool right up to high school. Mainly in the sciences lol - how funny. A science teacher hates chem and physics... @Birdofparadise8

Why I changed? @Birdofparadise8 I felt indebted to give back to the community after having been sooo supported, carried and cared by the system. I need to help my own people. I know I haven't been through my experiences for nothing.

Anyway, I'm hopping off now, but I'd love to continue this convo tomorrow. Shall we?
