Something’s not right

Struggling: TW suicide

Struggling: TW suicide

I have been struggling a lot lately with suicidal thoughts. It’s become a daily occurrence and it’s been really overwhelming to cope. I am safe right but having to fight this is very exhausting. I feel so trapped, I am tired of living in pain, fear and shame. I feel like a burden to people and unimportant.

@Snowie, it’s always a good feeling to feel clean. Sometimes it can be hard to be motivated to do simple things when you’re feeling really depressed. So it is something you should be proud of.

I am starting to feel more low now.

Thanks @creative_writer I hadn't showered for days and haven't washed my hair for weeks so it does make me feel a little better.

Sorry to hear you are starting to feel low again. Is there something we can do to help?

@Snowie that’s a major achievement, I think it gets easier once we are able to push ourselves.

I don’t know. I wish I could stop feeling so depressed. My mental illnesses pretty much feed into each other. It becomes a spiral.

Re: Struggling: TW suicide

It makes it hard @creative_writer when we don't know how to help ourselves at times. I feel that my spirals are out of my control and somedays I feel powerless to stop them.

My pdoc tells me that things will improve the more I do, yet I just cannot find the motivation to do anything. I do the basic things because I have too, but thats it.

@Snowie sometimes the basics things are enough to get us through, but even basic things require strengths.

I am seeing how things go. I stopped taking my PRN recently too since I didn’t feel like I was at as much risk to myself. Though the thoughts still remain. I don’t even know what I need. Meds adjustment? Someone to talk to? I don’t know. But something needs to change. I feel like I have some many emotions and thoughts crowding my mind. I can talk about it, but my heart still feels heavy. I want to feel safe and at peace. I want to feel safe and at peace.

Feeling safe and at peace @creative_writer is what you deserve.

It is hard when things are wrong, but we are not sure how to make them right.

It is hard feeling this way. I hope you get the answers you deserve soon.

@Snowie I honestly don’t know what I need to do. I don’t see the way out right now and it’s killing me every single day.

Re: Struggling: TW suicide

It may feel that way every day @creative_writer but just the fact that you are waking up every day and doing things show how much strength you have.

Perhaps instead of trying to find a way out you just tackle one day at a time or even an hour at a time. Sometimes success is all the small things put together.

I am just taking it hour by hour at the moment. I haven't enough strength to get through a day but can get through an hour. Baby steps

@Snowie I don’t even know what I am doing with my life. It’s more or less just surviving right now. I wish I could think myself out of how I feel but can’t.

Sorry @creative_writer will have to love you and leave you.

Have a 70th birthday to go too. Luckily only two doors up so don't have to stay for long.

Take care of you
