Protective factors

Protective factors

I learnt yesterday about protective factors.

It's funny that 1 of my protective factors is debt. I have debt that I have decided I need to pay off before I could end my life. I couldn't let it be palmed off to my parents. I would be too ashamed to consider that.

My other protective factor is my parents.

I don't think I will be able to clear my debts for atleast a month or two. By then I will have seen a new psychiatrist and potentially be starting new medication. I don't know. If I make it out of this hole I will be so surprised. I'll dance down the street praising God. I'll buy a ticket to Europe and go to all the places I've always wanted to go. I'll take a bee keeping course. I'll share the gospel. I'll learn piano.

Sending kind thoughts to you all

Christheart

Re: Protective factors

Glad you went @Christheart

When I go to Mass I find it very centring and I feel warmth from being in His place.

The church was built in the 1800’s it’s beautiful but definitely not warm! Lol

Re: Protective factors

Thank you @FloatingFeather the afternoon was better. I was able to spend most of my time researching how to make paper out of recycled paper... I plan to do that as a craft activity with a craft group I run for NDIS participants. I was watching a YouTube channel called The Paper Outpost, it was really nice, she had lots of good ideas. 2 hours to go, just have to help someone with cooking and house keeping then I can go home.

Re: Protective factors

Sorry you are struggling @Christheart

I am hoping that your last 2 hrs go smoothly and quickly. I hope that your client will make you smile.

Just remember that you’ve accomplished most of your day while struggling. You can do this then you can look forward to going home and having a hot shower to was the day away.

Just think when you’re finishing I’m heading off to start my shift in the dark and cold! Lol
